Starting off the day with 7-8-72 and then hopping ten years for 7-3-82.
I miss J Geils and Angel In Blue that way but get Body Language in exchange. Sure its Queen but I'm starting to think I screwed myself!

Whoops, thought for whatever reason that Angel In Blue's two weeks at #40 started on 7-10. It was early! ;-)

It's 7/6/85 right now. That's done. On to the AT40 from this date in 1990. Today my father would have been 75, so I'm commemorating his birthday with a countdown topped by the New Kids on the Block, a group I know he loved immensely.

Today: 7-9-83 with fabulous Chewels commercials! Later, I'll go off my usual "This month in history" format to do 2-22-75. Felt like I Am Love by The Jackson 5...

Yes, and? I listened to a July 83 earlier, my usual listening style, but am going off that to hear a Jackson 5 song I love within a countdown... What is confusing you?

Oh, I misread, nevermind. I thought you said you would "go off ON your usual this month...." I put the extra word there in my head. Sorry.

I just reached the Top 10 of the countdown from this date in 1977. From there, I'll be listening to the show from this date in 1983.

Right now, I'm up to number 13 of the 7/4/87 regular countdown, "Diamonds" by Herb Alpert, with vocals by Miss Jackson (I'm nasty - I have to call her that).
Next, it will be the show from this date in 1976. The Summer of '76 gave us some great music - and then it also gave us "Kiss and Say Goodbye" by the Manhattans.
And today is the day I learned from Casey that Dan Seals (the England Dan to John Ford Coley) was the brother of the Seals (Jim) from Seals & Crofts.
