Finished up 1/1/72, now starting 7/27/85. A rare Monday off with no one home and no plans, it's a relax and listen to countdowns day.

I'm doing May 24, 1986. Hoping we get June 7, 1986 in a few weeks. That's the debut week of "Invisible Touch" by Genesis and would give me four consecutive shows from May 17 thru June 7 of that year. If I could somehow get all of the shows from May-August 1986, I definitely would.

A great show from this date in 1987.
That's done. Now playing is a Casey's Top 40 from May 17, 1997. At number 39 now, the Bee Gee's and "Alone", a splendid little ditty by a phenomenal family.

Listening to the infamous Townsend Coleman show from WGCL on July 7, 1979. This was a great set of songs--too bad Casey, Don, et al, hadn't started doing a regular show on the same weekend as when they played specials...a Casey-hosted regular show from that week would have been fun.
Townsend Coleman did a great job with this show BTW, considering he was just 25 and was asked to throw together a countdown to avoid having to play the Disco Special...should have been asked to sub host a show after this.
