Don't know if anyone can confirm, but the website for CHNS Halifax NS 88.9 The Wave, now has both shows starting at 8am local /7ET and no re-runs listed 899thewave.fm/programme.php?programmeID=299Top 40 from the 70s Airs Sunday morning from 8AM-11AM Top 40 from the 80s Airs Saturday morning from 8AM-Noon |

May have changed to 10 am. Will check station repeat on Tuesday and the start time for next Saturday. Update: Show ran longer than 3 hours and the last 3 songs were dropped. Seems like there were more commercials than usual. Technical problems? Saturday 9 am - 12 Noon (FIRST Broadcast) (Station REPEATS show on Tuesday at Noon) Radio Gold - Real Classics - Berlin - GERMANY Germany and the rest of Europe (plus UK) haven't switched over to Daylight Savings time yet. That will occur during the last Sunday of this month. At that point, the running time for this station will once again return to the timeslot listed on this thread. Until then the start time will occur one hour later than listed. |

After 3+ years of nothing but consistent airings of the 70s shows, three of the last four weeks, WOCL Orlando has aired a the 3 hour 80s show in place of the 80s show. Here the last 4 weeks of Sunday morning airings for them:
Sunday 2/23: 1981
Sunday 3/2: 1978
Sunday 3/9: 1983
Sunday 3/16: 1986
Looks like they will be a random mix of 70s or 80s, depending on the week and the offerings. Unfortunately when it comes to the 80s or 4 hour 70s show, Sunny still only airs the 3 hour show even though the 6am-7am hour leading up to the show is just automated music.

**Copied from old 70's stations thread** I caught AT40 70s edition on WDOE, 94.9, Dunkirk, NY. I believe the show started at 9am on Saturday (I was driving along I-90 and lost the station after some time). There is no website that has programming information, but the station does stream: streamdb1web.securenetsystems.net/v5/WDOECan anyone fill in some of the gaps? Do they really start at 9am Saturdays? Do they run the four-hour shows? Do they also air AT40 80s? As previously stated, the station does not have a dedicated website. Radar is correct in that they have no website i can find Wikipedia says : On Saturdays, WDOE broadcasts the Chautauqua Brick Home Solutions Show from 8:00-8:30 AM, the Fundamental Wealth Management Show from 9:00-10:00 AM, and the nationally syndicated American Top 40: The 1970s from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Might be an idea if possible to either delete the old 70s & 80s stations threads or make the new ones a sticky so they are always on page 1 |

Mike, I don't know how this happened, but the start time for AT 40 is off by one hour on WHPY - Hippie Radio 94.5 FM - Bellevue/Nashville TN.
The program begins at 11 am Eastern Time or 10 am local Central Time. Check your post of Jan 11th near the bottom of page 1 and you'll
see the correct time listed there. A very cool Beatles-themed program preceded AT 40 and ended about 11:06 am EDT/10:06 am CDT.

Just a friendly reminder...Beginning this Sunday March 30th, Daylight Savings Time returns throughout most of Europe and the United Kingdom (plus Ireland).
With the exception of a small region of France, a tiny piece of The Netherlands and all of Russia, this part of the world "springs forward" this time of year.

An update on 105.9 Sunny FM, here is the scorecard since they have started their random mix of 70s and 80s
Sunday 2/23: 1981 (first week of ever diverting from the 70s since they started airing the show in Feb 2011)
Sunday 3/2: 1978
Sunday 3/9: 1983
Sunday 3/16: 1986
Sunday 3/23: 1985
Sunday 3/30: 1975
And again, regardless of the year, they only air the 3 hour show

Please modify that 7PM (ET) Sunday listing for KCPI, since they played all three extras today; this was my first time listening to that fantastic countdown on this station, so I have to assume that they'll play the extras every week.
WUPE's transmitter was toppled by high winds and severe storms, leaving a really crappy internet stream, while the link/stream for WBET was down for some reason.

This Sunday April 6th, WODC - 93.3 FM - Central Ohio's Classic Hits - Columbus OH, will present two episodes of AT 40 - The '70's.
The first program was originally broadcast 4/3/71 and can be heard from 9 AM - 12 Noon.
The second show is from 3/31/79 and all four hours  of this countdown will air from 8 PM - 12 Midnight.
Two shows for the price of one and only on WODC 93.3 FM.
