Another one bites the dust? WMLX - Lima/St. Mary's, OH was airing something called the 80's show this evening instead of AT40 - the 80s. Looks like one of the better Saturday evening options for the 80s shows may be no more... Given their six-week stint with 2/21/81, I checked this out to be sure. Unfortunately, their site schedule confirms it.

KZOY started with hour #2 at 2 PM ET today. Don't know if that was a glitch or they are doing a 3-hour show now. I should have thought to post a notice of the time change on KZOY when it occurred two weeks ago... the station has acquired another syndicated show that they are airing on weekend evenings, so they have moved much of their programming up one hour to accommodate. To that end, they one carry AT40 The 80s from 2 PM to 6 PM local time (Central) / 1 PM to 5 PM Eastern. I believe that the time change is indeed referenced/verified on their website.

As I posted on the other thread, the above cannot be correct, as Eastern is one hour LATER than Central, not one hour earlier! KZOY used to start at 1PM Central Time. If they have indeed moved the start time one hour earlier, that would now be Noon Central, 1PM Eastern.

KZOY started with hour #2 at 2 PM ET today. Don't know if that was a glitch or they are doing a 3-hour show now. KZOY - Sunny Radio - Brandon/Sioux Falls SD (92.1 FM) and Sioux City IA (1250 AM) has definitely moved up its running time of AT 40. On both Saturday and Sunday the program is now heard from 1 pm - 5 pm ET or 12 noon - 4 pm CT (local time). This is also reflected on the station website: sunnysiouxfalls.com/weekend-schedule/4583342465 (Just like CoachEight stated -- two posts above.) In light of the fact that your post was created prior to Mike's latest round of updates, I'm surprised he didn't investigate your information and make the appropriate updates. I would have checked out your findings thoroughly, made the needed changes and thanked you for your interest and participation in this forum/fun & games site. Appreciate your help! JGSynergy

I guess I'll ask this here (and I hope it's OK to ask it). Which station is the best overall to record via dar.fm? What I need is good sound quality that has all the extras and makes few, if any, mistakes (i.e. commercials don't cut into the shows or the station plays the wrong segments, etc.).

KOKZ play both & all the 4 hour 1978/9 ones & rarely screw them up
WNSN are good for the 80s
WODC are good for the 70s & play both A & B shows as well as all 4 hours of 78/9 shows

As mentioned elsewhere, it's probably time to switch this one over from 70s to 80s, as last week they ran 1970 and this week is 1983. It's not clear yet whether they'll play the full four hours, though the complete playlist is given (they only played three hour 70s shows to my knowledge).
Saturday 8 am - 11 am (6 am LOCAL time - No DST) KOOL - The Valley's Greatest Hits - Phoenix AZ 94.5 FM betaplayer.radio.com/player/945-kool-fm/
** Station's website tells the AT 40 broadcast date, as well as AT 40 playlist for that week** kool.cbslocal.com/tag/countdown/
Thanks to poster Mike for this information: PLEASE NOTE - ALL Arizona stations: AT 40 show will start one hour later than is listed during the months that the U.S. observes Daylight Savings Time. Arizona and Hawaii do NOT observe DST; thus, the one-hour difference.
UPDATE NOVEMBER 4 - thanks to poster top40collector for this information: KOOL FM last Saturday morning ran the show 9:05 AM ET to 12:29 PM ET. They played an extra song of their own before the OE's (all 3 OE's was played).

Actually, last week they did not run the 1970 show, but ran the #1 songs of the '70s part 2 optional show instead. I agree that they are probably switching from the '70s to the '80s shows as their normal playlist has been tilting more and more toward '80s vs. '70s.

All I knew was the playlist; about a month ago they posted another 1970 playlist online, but instead played that week's alternate option from 1979. At least with the 1980s this type of confusion won't be an issue, except maybe on occasions when a special is offered in addition to the regular show.

And indeed KOOL is playing 1983, so we can add them to this list and probably cut them from the 70s roster (unless they play that countdown at some other time this weekend.)
They are starting at the beginning of the countdown, so they presumably will play all four hours, unlike KQQL which also recently switched from 70s to 80s but didn't allot the extra hour.

Time change for KACL in Bismarck, ND. They now air AT40: The 80's Sunday night from 7 - 11 PM. Also, they air the 70's show that same morning from 9 - 12 noon.

i'm a bit confused about this one AM 1150 from Kelowna, BC, Canada It seems to be a sports station & their Sunday website schedule shows no Casey www.am1150.ca/Schedule.aspxHowever they did tweet about airing the show on Sept 7 twitter.com/AM1150AM 1150 @am1150 · Sep 7 Casey Kasem 80's American Top 40 is on the air. From the week of Sept. 3 1983. Click here to listen bit.ly/AM1150ListenLive … Maybe using it as a summer filler when there was no football?
