On last's week's 1981 show Casey was really pushing 'big' moves in the 20s and 30s of relatively modest 5-6 notches.

Casey really tried to sell Tina's top 40 entry on last week's 1984 show by stressing she was at #34, up from #42. Respectable, but both Wham and H&O made bigger unmentioned jumps into the survey and Prince entered the Hot 100 that week at #28.

Another way Casey used to sell a move in the early days was by saying "let's check out the chart action on this record". Don't recall him using that tactic much after 1976/77.

On this week's 1977 show Casey said Simon made a 'solid upward move of four notches.' That was a big sell for a Slip Slidin' considering nine tunes in the top 40 that week exceeded it.

On last week's 1978 show Casey really sold Bee Gees going into #2 Night Fever to highlight the Brothers big chart week.

Casey really sold the big six notch move of Gary Wright this week in 1981. Respectable, but 4 other songs in the panel matched or bested Really Wanna Know You

On this week's Supersized 75, Casey really tried to sell Tapestry moving 10 million.
It's amazing how things have come full circle. Ten million seemed like a lot, then along came BeeGees and MJ & 10m seemed like nothing. Now if Tay Swift sells 2m people go nuts.

No. No. No. NOT going for the obvious joke here... I give up. Me too. If it's so obvious, why can't we figure it out? Perhaps you should have gone for it.

This week in 1976 Casey really tried to sell a four notch move by Rhythm Heritage when tunes all around it were climbing faster than 'Sparrow.
