On AT40: The 70's 6/15/1974 for "The Streak" by Ray Stevens the second part at the gas station with second chorus was edited out - I am guessing it's a Watermark original and not a Premiere edit. Wrong...it's in the original.

This may have been discussed before, but have you ever noticed that sometimes you can tell a Premiere edit from one in the original show? The key sometimes changes slightly once Casey's intro has ended. Then, it changes again, back to how it was before, right before the outro. This happened with "When I Need You" by Leo Sayer. My guess is that, on the original show, the version without the sax in the instrumental bridge was played (since the sax was indeed present in the edited version). You'd be correct.

Somebody tell me, please. I have a question about CT40 on March 3, 1990. It is according to this site CASEY'S TOP 40 - 3/3/90 (archive.org).No13 is missing. Why missing?

Ah, the old Walt Bailey site. It is possible his copy of the show was missing #13. The shows before they came on CD were digitally remastered and later split by song, and the track containing #13 may have been missing.

On AT40: The 80's 6/20/1981 a verse and chorus of "What Are We Doing In Love" by Dottie West and Kenny Rogers was omitted - Premiere edit?

There was a fairly obvious edit in "Hearts" by Marty Balin. I can tell that they combined the second and third choruses, because it repeats the line "Hearts can break and never mend together, love can fade away".

On AT40: The 80's 6/23/1984 "Prime Time" by The Alan Parsons Project was shortened ending after the second verse and chorus - that wasn't the way I heard it when I originally heard that AT40 show back at the 1984 time on WLS AM 890 Chicago!
Also: The second verse/chorus of "I'm Free (Heaven Helps the Man)" by Kenny Loggins was cut out - also wasn't the way I heard it on that AT40 show on WLS AM 890 Chicago back at that 1984 time. Premiere's hatchet job of editing strikes again!

On AT40: The 80's 8/4/1984 "Alibis" by Sergio Mendes had the instrumental bridge between second and last chorus omitted - Premiere edit, I guess...
