I Get Weak on the 4/9/1988 show was cut off early, something that seems to happen more often than not. The Jets' "Rocket 2 U" ended pretty abruptly in the same show. Don't know if it was original or Premiere. Casey starts talking just before the end of the song in the original, but pauses until the song finishes. So I'll go original on this one.

Seems to me they edit that song more often than not - right after "just a little bit more", they cut right to the a capella part, which is the last two lines of the song.

On AT40: The 70's 4/19/1975, I wonder if the original Watermark 4/19/1975 AT40 version has Casey's "And the countdown continues" after Casey says a quote from Frankie Valli's #36 song "My Eyes Adored You" at the song outro as the song fades out? If so, this line is omitted from the Premiere version.
Also for AT40: The 70's 4/19/1975: "Young Americans" by David Bowie might have butchered out a part towards the last chorus of the song with a Premiere hatchet job.

In the Carpenters' "Only Yesterday" in the same show, they repeated the "Baby, baby, feels like maybe things will be all right" line twice, which I at first thought was a mistake or something, until it became clear they were cutting out the entire second verse and chorus and going right from the first verse/chorus to the coda/fade. Especially disappointing as that's one of my favourite songs in the countdown....

At least it didn't cause a thing like Shadoe Stevens AT40 did in the 1990's - repeating verses or lines for a few minutes in looping style.

On AT40: The 80's 4/28/1984: Was "Rock You Like a Hurricane" played with the B-word swear replaced by "Night" ("The B- is hungry" was original, "The night is hungry" is replacement)? At first I thought the phrase was "The fish is hungry".

I forgot to mention this the other day when I listened to the 5/1/1982 show, but Key Largo is another song that seems to always get cut off early by Casey's outros.

On AT40: The 70's 5/14/1977: "Undercover Angel" had the second verse cut out. Could it be Premiere edit job and not Watermark?

Remember, this was late in the 3-hour era, so the chances of it being a Watermark edit are much better than most. I'll check my copy later today and update this post. A good clue would also be if Ken super-sizes the broadcast; that would indicate many edits are in the original show, before Premiere even touched it. ETA: Just as I suspected, original edit.

Culture Club's Move Away was chopped up on the 5/17/1986 show (the second verse was kept in, but the instrumental break and about 30-45 seconds after it was edited out). I don't recall ever hearing an unedited version of that song on any of the shows its played on.

On AT40: The 80's 5/24/1980 part of the Spinners' "Cupid/I Loved You For a Long Time" was edited omitting the "Cupid" lines that isn't the chorus but playing the "I Love You For a Long Time" part, Premiere edit?

I'm listening to the 6/8/1974 show on the Classic AT40 channel and Rikki Don't Lose That Number at #38 didn't have an intro for it. That seems like a strange thing to edit out so I'm going to guess it was originally that way or it's an iHeartRadio edit (they've gone as far as to chop-up a couple of the 4-hour 70s shows so I could see them doing such a thing).
