Another one (or two) of those "easy target" songs during the later years of the 3-hour era. The segment of my original copy clocks in at 6:37, and 0:42 of that is the EOH theme music. It doesn't take much to figure out both songs were heavily edited. If Premiere did any further hatchet jobs, all I can say is, wow.
This is certainly a time frame when questioning edits, are more likely to be Watermark than Premiere. The latter certainly gets the brunt of the frustrations around here with those.

On AT40: The 80's 2/16/1985 "High on You" by Survivor was edited by Premiere cuting out the first chorus and second verse!
Are Survivor's 1984-1985 songs a Premiere hatchet job target always?

The Way You Make Me Feel on the 2/20/1988 show had a couple of jarring edits during the last minute of the song.

For some reason, the first line of The Other Guy on the 2/26/1983 show (I found out that you care for another guy) was edited out.

On AT40: The 70's 3/5/1977: "Sam" by Olivia Newton-John sounded shortened to me. Was that Premiere?
Also on AT40: The 70's 3/5/1977: "Hard Luck Woman" by Kiss cut out the second verse. That also might be Premiere?

On AT40: The 80's 3/3/1984 (Now airing this Saturday night on WXXM Rewind 92.1 FM), the #40 song "Miss Me Blind" by Culture Club didn't have the between second chorus and and end chorus instrumental bridge - Premiere edit?

On AT40: The 80's 3/14/1987 the second verse and chorus of "Come Go With Me" by Expose is edited out - Premiere edit, I guess.

Whoever cut down Tina Turner's "What You Get Is What You See" in the same show did a pretty obvious and clumsy job of it--and it was only in its second week in the countdown. That and "Come Go With Me", and probably others, are making me wish for Ken Martin's supersizing treatment.
