On AT40: The 80's 1/29/1983 (now on this Sunday morning on WXXM Rewind 92.1 FM Madison, Wisconsin) in the top 3 recap: The #1 song of the previous week (the song dealing with a country/continent before the equator as Casey said) "Down Under" by Men at Work had the third verse and start of final chorus cut out - Premiere edit, I guess.

Regarding the 2/4/1978 AT40: The 70's show I am now listening to on WXXM Rewind 92.1 FM Madison, Wisconsin this morning: Did the #40 song of "Always and Forever" by Heatwave sound shortened? I hope Ken Martin supersized it in his own 4 hour AT40 2/4/1978 version!

Regarding AT40: The 80's 2/14/1987 - was the #38 song "Without Your Love" by Toto shortened by Premiere removing the second verse or something?

On AT40: The 70's 2/10/1973: Did James Brown's "I Got Ants In My Pants (I Want to Dance)" get shortened to under 2 minutes by Premiere (if not Watermark)? Hope Premieres not trying to turn some James Brown songs into an "It's Esctacy When You Lay Down Next To Me/Humpty Dance/Mind Playing Tricks on Me" thing!

Not that I was timing it, but I've heard "Ants In My Pants" twice now this week (on WSQL Thursday and last night on KLFM) and it did not seem like what was played was 'under 2 minutes' to me.

Today on the 2/12/77 show heard on WPNC the edit of Year Of The Cat by Al Stewart was simply pathetic.

The edit was horribly bad. Is that better? Watermark so often edited that song, just as they did with "Night Moves" at that same time. Always think of those two songs together, as they seemed to go up the chart in near-lockstep.
