BOO!HISS!JEER! Oh well, at least we know fershur that WODC will be running the full four-hour show tomorrow, right? Definitely; that's why they're my go-to station for the four-hour shows. I just sent an e-mail about WJER starting with the second hour; I wonder if they'll blame Premiere again.

WGTK 970 is playing the 1971 show. For the last 2 weeks they have went with the ('B') show. Don't know what's up with that

May everyone connected with this station break out in painful boils... ;D

...did I miss something, or did Larry not give the chart date in his intro to the 1971 show? I haven't heard this week's 1971 show, but I believe last week's 1972 show was the same way.

I heard him do the intro announcing the chart date (all 3 hrs) both this and last week.

So, are any other stations running the four-hour show? I didn't stop to think that WODC would be starting the show an hour early.

But I checked the first hour and none of the songs were anything special, so it's no huge loss if I miss that one. The only thing I'm curious about is the subject of the LDD in Hour 1.

In case you don't get to hear it, it was from a freshman student at Washington University in St. Louis who had to leave during his first semester due to illness (his letter indicated he would return in fall 1979). It was dedicated to his four best friends there; among their favorite activities was going to concerts, and the first one they went to together was by Billy Joel, so he dedicated "Piano Man" to them.
