In 1984, Nena had "99 Luftballons" on the "A" side and "99 Red Balloons" on the "B" side. I don't think Billboard had both listed, but R&R did, and Casey played the English version while the German version was charting at least once, and the medley of both versions at least twice.

Casey's Top 40 had 2 Pac's "California Love" for a few weeks in Summer 1996 but the 2 Pac B-side "How Do You Want It" despite hitting #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 never made Casey's Top 40 nor R&R's Top 40 CHR/Pop reaches.

I believe that was the first time a song hit #1 on the Hot 100 and didn't chart in R&R since the magazine's debut. On the flip-side, "Mr. Jones" in 1994 was the first #1 in R&R that didn't make the Hot 100.
