It is the 25 year anniversary that the Pet Shop Boys and Dusty Springfiled spent their second week at number two with, "What Have I Done To Deserve This"? A song this is unique because of the use of a punctuation mark to end the song title.
What are some of the high charting songs that ended with a punctuation mark, not counting parentheses? Special props for Howard Jones using a question mark to end a song title and use an ellipsis in his Top 20 hit, "You Know I Love You...Don't You?" Also, while HJ was charting with that song late '86/early '87, Chicago was in the Top 40 and would eventually go to 3 with, "Will You Still Love Me?" What are some other big song titles to end in punctuation, not including parentheses?

Smokey went to four in 1980 with "Cruisin'".
Also, (I am assuming that Aerosmith hit AT 40 with this song), Vixin and Aerosmith hit the Top 40 with the same title..."Cryin'"
Donnie Iris hit the top 30 in 1981 with, "Ah! Leah!", in 1981.
Michael Morales hit 15 in 1989 with "Who Do You Give Your Love To?"
I found at least one song that bests PSB and Dusty, chart position wise... "Who Can It Be Now?" - Men At Work, number one

A few more punctuated #1's from the AT40 era:
"Jive Talkin'" by the Bee Gees (1975) "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" by Rod Stewart (1979)

I am in the process of downloading as many top 40 hits from 1987 this evening, and using Walt Bailey's site as a reference, and I found this:
"I Know What I Like!" - Huey Lewis & The News "Let's Go!" - Wang Chung
Also, from AT40 in other years:
"Do I Have To Say The Words?" - Bryan Adams (1992) "Don't Stop Believin'" - Journey (early 1980s) "Are You That Somebody?" - Aaliyah (1998) "Didn't We Almost Have It All?" - Whitney Houston (1987)
And if you include top 40 acts, aside from Wham!, you have Al B. Sure! When Daryl Hall & John Oates became the final sub-hosts of Casey's original run in July 1988, they acknowledged that Al B. Sure! was only the second top 40 act that contains an exclamation mark.
During the CT40 era in 1993, you have only one act with a question mark:
Lo'Key? They didn't make it to AT40, though it would have been an accomplishment if they did.

From the very first AT40 show: *Are You Ready? *My Baby Loves Lovin' *Which Way You Goin' Billy? And one of AT40's network sponsors during the 80s was Dr Pepper. Did you know there's no period in Dr Pepper?

Going the opposite direction, punctuation at the beginning of a song title (not counting parentheses) has got to be much rarer. The only song I can think of would be the number 2 song (on AT 40), "... One More Time" by Britney Spears in 1999.
