Then Mark says that "I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down" was Paul Young's first single off his second album. Maybe somewhere else, but not here in the states where the actual first single went all the way to the top!! Furthermore, she stated that it was his first big remake. Which of course is true if you go by Wikipedia which lists his chart info based on UK data, but as usual nobody cares to verify any of this.

Alan states that Aretha Franklin hadn't had a hit in 12 years. As usual, one's definition of "hit" is subject to interpretation. While she hadn't hit the top ten in 12 years, she had hit the top forty a few times.

Did Alan say that "Slow Hand" was a breakthrough for the Pointer Sisters? Do "Fire" and "He's So Shy" and all that mean nothing?
