In their ever changing definition of a hit, Mark said countdown Key Largo would also be a country chart biggie... it peaked at #50 there. Then in her weekly content screw up Nina said Shannon would record his Sea of Love cover in 1982... it first charted at the end of 1981.

Alan said Milsap was one away from his peak. 'World would peak at #20 on the prior panel and would be there with an anchor on this chart. Then he said 35 country #1s was third to Conway and Strait leaving out 38 for Hag.

Nina said countdown 'Easy was the third and final single from Time Exposure. That honor would go to LRBs followup Man On Your Mind.

OMG, after Alan said this was the "1/22/82" chart Mark said Newton's 'Thing would be on the pop charts for 40 weeks... really 24. Was he confused with Paul Davis', played a couple songs ago, I Go Crazy??

Also, for the last time, they have been announcing the Friday's date instead of the Saturday's for weeks now. No need to ALWAYS BRING IT UP. That's what they're going to do from now on I guess.

OMG, did Casey lite skip #32 'Pressure?? Yes. Whoever edited this was definitely sleeping on the job because Nina mentioned it after K&TG. And honestly I thought you meant the Billy Joel song "Pressure" and thought you were having a weekly chart screw-up.

About the recent '85-'86 season countdown shows just weeks apart: Would the first and second weeks of November be a good boundary for determining year-tags of songs' displays? If yes, then the Hot 100 entries for "Face the Face", "Sex as a Weapon", "Love is the Seventh Wave", and "It's Only Love" would be too late for those singles to be having 85 tags on their displays. "Party All the Time", "I Miss You", and even "Conga" and "Tarzan Boy" should get 85 tags instead of 86, because their Hot 100 entries were before the end of October '85.
And on this week's 1982 show, the display for "Abacab" shows 1981 after previously having '82 even though it entered the Hot 100 on the frozen week chart of the 1981-82 season.

I think most of the songs whose chart appearances substantially straddled two different years are likely tagged as both in their system. I'm not sure they strictly adhere to the Billboard cut-off dates for year end charts in that regard.

OMG, Alan just peaked Centerfold at #3 This has to be the biggest mistake--6 weeks at #1 is not even close to a #3 peak. Could he have been confused that Centerfold was the #3 record of 1982?

They had been announcing the actual chart date instead of the Friday date for a long time though so I don't get the switch.

They finally added "Under Pressure". Should have been fixed earlier.
