In their ever changing definition of a hit, Alan said countdown Walks Like A Lady was from the same album as 'massive hit' Any Way You Want It. The latter topped off at a modest #23.

From what I can tell, members of Oak were from all over the New England states, including Maine and New Hampshire.

In his intro to "Little Jeannie", Mark said it was off of "21 at 23" and that the song was holding at #4 when it actually inched up a spot from the last week.

Nina started off the show with the July 15, 1985 chart....at least they played the hit single version of State of the Heart.
I spoke too soon, now they are playing the marathon version of In My House

In their ever changing definition of a hit, Alan said Find A Way was the first huge non religious success for Amy Grant. It topped at a modest #29. Then another endless version... Love Me Tonight. We are only at #35 1/2 hour in.
Please, please no 6 minute version of Freeway of Love.

We are only at #35 1/2 hour in. "Rock Me Tonight" by Freddie Jackson? And that is one of several songs where I don't get why they always play the 7 minute album version when the 4 minute single would suffice. Maybe they don't have access or rights to play anything other than the full length version?

Good thing they didn't play it here.

Would it be a good idea if they only saved a countdown single's long album version for when that single is at its peak on the Big 40, and otherwise just play the single version if it's not peaking?

Nina was off by 10 years when giving out the hint that Raspberry Beret was covered by the Hindu Love Gods.

For the second time in the last two months, Mark bungled some info related to Kim Carnes during his regular morning shift. Today he said More Love was off the Crazy In The Night album. Not even close, Mark...
