As I've pointed out previously, the mistakes aren't limited to the countdown show...
This morning, Mark played Kim Carnes' "More Love" as a lost hit. First, he claimed it was from the album "Crazy In The Night." (She never had an album by that title and the song by that name was five years later.) Then in the same breath, he explained that it was originally a Smokey Robinson song and that it "kept another Smokey Robinson song from hitting #1." (Uh, no, that was Bette Davis Eyes.)
Nice work displaying your ignorance as usual, SiriusXM.

OMG my inner DWTS fan didn't like Alan calling Bruno Tonioli one of the "hosts" and he's actually one of the judges. The current host is Tyra Banks though Tom Bergeron had been the host since the beginning. This was before he said I'm Still Standing was a biggie for Elt, but it was a very undistinguished in his catalog. www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/7735709/elton-john-biggest-billboard-hot-100-hitsThen he said Come Dancing was Kinks' biggest hit in a 'decade' since (1965s) Tired of Waiting... For "I'm Still Standing" maybe he was using the same logic, or what passes for it, as current radio programmers do. It peaked at #12 in Billboard, a decent hit but not one of Elton's biggest, but it gets a lot of recurrent play, more than many of his songs that originally charted higher.

Alan called Patton's countdown song Don't Give Up followed by a vintage early 80s mixed bag comment. Then he said #33 was Meatloaf type lyrics coming outta Steinman's mouth. The only problem.. Jim didn't sing, Rory Dodd did the vocals.

In her weekly content screw up Nina said countdown Slow Hand was 'Sisters first top tenner. Fire? He's So Shy?? "Although its sultry style recalls the Pointer Sisters' first American top-ten hit, the 1978 number two hit "Fire"," Looks like more not-reading-further-down-the-Wikipedia-page shenanigans.

Alan said Elt's Sad Songs was from the 'movie' Breaking Hearts...?? That's a new one on me, and I consider myself a mid 80s Elt expert. In other words....OMG!!
