Well at least they are going with 4/13/85 so CY won't be played.

Alan said Lucky was Greg Kihn Band. As Casey mentioned on the real thing a couple weeks ago, this was Greg solo.

Mark intro'd CW as George Michael. On the BB chart it was billed as Wham ft. George Michael It was credited just to George Michael overseas from what I understand. Speaking of Wham!, Nina said Everything She Wants was their second chart topper in the states when it was their third in a row.

In her weekly chart screw up, Nina said Tom Petty was up nine, really 25-36

Alan peaked 'debut' Too Late For Goodbyes at #1, really #5 for Julian It was once again a case where it did hit #1 somewhere, in this instance the AC chart, and frustratingly enough Alan did this last week with the .38 Special song.

The Big 40 writers are once again moonlighting over on the 90s countdown. This week...
Julie Brown identifies Meat Loaf's songwriter as "John" Steinman
She then identifies Mary Jane's Last Dance as Tom Petty's first top ten hit of the 1990s. Free Fallin' anyone?
Later, she refers to the group Us3 as "U.S. 3"

Major screw-up alert. They're playing the first Stars on 45 Beatles Medley instead of the Stevie Wonder one.

Nina called Elton John's tribute to John Lennon "Empty Gardens" and then it sounded like "hey, hey John" but the music may have cut her off on my feed.

Major screw-up alert. They're playing the first Stars on 45 Beatles Medley instead of the Stevie Wonder one. As of the second airing, this has not been fixed. Making it all the more absurd, there's another Beatles medley on this countdown.
