OMG, Mark said Yes I'm Ready original artist was Barbara 'Mandell'! At least he later corrected to Barbara Mason. If only they'd correct themselves more often.

Looks like the display is reading "1980" instead of 1989 for the VJ intros. Just like two weeks ago with different years.

He must have got it from Cashbox. It went to #2 there. Would make sense if they were still using it like they did in the beginning though.

Meanwhile, over on the 90s countdown, I'm almost certain I heard Julie Brown identify Karyn White as being British. She's not.

Trouble! Alan said Buckingham's countdown song was the first solo hit for a Mac'er. Stop Dragging My Heart Around! Give LVK an error. I omitted Bob Welch from 1977 as Casey eloquently pointed out on last week's real countdown from 1982. BTW if I get an error, then Alan gets a double.

This is more of a display error but for "California Girls" they showed the art for DLR's album "Skyscraper", which wasn't released until 1988. It should have been the one from "Crazy From The Heat" unless there's something I'm missing.
