Aaron Lewis has a new song in the top 40 of the Hot 100. Since he charted in the 2000's with Staind, he now qualifies.
Also, Coldplay's "Higher Power" has reached AT40, so they now qualify too.

I finally added updates to the list. Thanks, everybody.
I also changed the notations for artists that only made AT40/CT40. Now I just indicate whether they made R&R/Mediabase instead. By extension, that should include all the ones that made AT40/CT40.

I think you missed Alicia Keys (Underdog) and Kesha (Raising Hell). Both artists hit the top 40 on Mediabase last year.

Did OneRepublic make AT40 last year with their Kygo collaboration "Lose Somebody"? If so, they can be added for the 2020's.

I think you missed Alicia Keys (Underdog) and Kesha (Raising Hell). Both artists hit the top 40 on Mediabase last year. Added. I also added double asterisks for acts who only charted with older songs (Christmas songs, songs that re-chart because the artist died, etc.). And I modified the title slightly, from "Acts in Top 40 two decades after Top 40 debut" to "Acts in Top 40 at least two decades after their Top 40 debut", since I had more room to add clarification.

If you include Mediabase, Elton John is back in the Top 40 with "Cold Heart" in his duet with Dua Lipa.

In addition to the aforementioned Elton John (Cold Heart is well into the top 40 on Mediabase and has made AT40), Kanye West also qualifies as he's now hit in the 2020's.
And while Jason Aldean is already on the list for the 2020's, his duet "If I Didn't Love You" qualifies Carrie Underwood.

Looking at the latest AT40 chart, you can add Cherish (00s - 20s). And Avril Lavigne may soon join the list.

Indeed she did - thanks to "Love The Way You Hate Me" and now "I'm A Mess" making the Mediabase top 40. Watch out for Pink to likely join this list soon, "Never Gonna Not Dance Again" has been picking up airplay and I expect it'll make it into the AT40 rankings in early 2023.
