Just another one from October 6, 1990, while introing Janet Jackson's "Black Cat" moving from #10 to #4 on Casey's Top 40 Casey mentions 98.4 FM Athens, Greece.
As you know Janet later made it to the top with that one too.

Hello! Interesting thread here. I`m maintaining the Finnish local radio stations` chronicles and for this I would like to find out which all stations here have broadcasted Casey`s TOP 40 + the years (like Casey has mentioned them in his shows). Here`s that program`s article on my blog:http://wp.me/p46kJl-eH . Now in my list are these stations (in the connection of VOA Europe`s broadcasts): Radio Kokkola (1991), Radio Kolme (1991-1993), Radio Janne (198?/199?) and SBC Radio (1991). If You have more info, I`m thankful naturally.

October 17, 1992. 103FM Hannover, Germany was mentioned in Hour 2, leading into "What about Your Friends" - TLC at #27. Hi Shadoe fan, I´m from Hanover and listened to CT40 from 1992-1995 on VOA Europe on satellite here in a village close to Hanover. I know that VOA could be listened also on cable frequency 97.3 in Hanover. Has Casey mentioned a station when he mentioned Hanover 103FM? ´Would be very interesting to know because I always thought VOA Europe was the only way to listen to Casey´s top 40 in Germany back then!!? Do you have the complete CT40 from 10/17/1992? I tried to find it on youtube to have a listen myself to Casey´s words - but I could not find it there unfortunatly Greetings roadrunner

I do have the entire show, and I just listened again. All Casey said was "103 FM Hanover Germany". thanks Shadoe fan for checking again - in 1992 we had just 2 private stations based in Hanover ("FFN" and "Antenne Niedersachsen". I´m sure they never had any american syndicated show on their schedule. It would be interesting if there ever existed lists of stations carrying CT40 and AT40 in foreign countries like the listeners directory in the early 1980!!? I´m still looking for the starting date of Radio Hamburg in 1987 (AT40) if Casey has ever mentioned it? The

The According to Pete Battistini's book "American Top 40 with Casey Kasem (The 1980s)", Radio Hamburg was mentioned by Casey 3 different times. The show dates were 02/14/87, 09/26/87, and 06/18/88.
