Gang, today (11-24), mix1077 was still airin' the '80s show. Dunno if they'll flip to Christmas, next month. Just have to wait and see.

Oh, FFS... CKWS went with the AT20 XMas special instead of the regular show... Hopefully they did this because they just went to holiday music this week, and once the novelty wears off, then go back to regular shows. I hope. In the meantime,.... did anyone happen to get a good recording of this weeks 1979/1984 shows they might be willing to pass along? My '84 is intact... got '79 from WHNN which meant I had to patch in two extras, which sadly are in mono from CKWW 580.

WLXT Petoskey, MI and WHNN Bay City, MI have flipped to all Xmas just prior to Thanksgiving.
WLXT airs AT40 the 80s Saturdays from 8pm to 12 Mid EST. However, they are just playing all Christmas music. No AT40 the 80s airings on WLXT until the year end show. Also, WLXT decided not to air the AT10 Xmas shows.
However, WHNN most likely will air the AT10 Xmas shows on Sunday Mornings. I'll check to see if the will replay the AT10 Xmas Sunday night.

KLOU 103.3/St. Louis may have flipped to all-Christmas music earlier this week but they are playing this week's AT40 - The 70's show from 11/29/75. It started eight minutes late, but they are playing it! It is also webstreaming on their website (www.klou.com).
KLOU used to be very consistent about starting their show at 9am Central time but their definition of 9am now is a little lax... six minutes early last week, eight minutes late this week. I can't quibble too much... I am just glad they play AT40 - The 70's each week.

'HNN's doing the 11/27/2004 AT10 Xmas show this morning (25) (list of songs on www.oldradioshows.com/at10/112704at10.html, thanks Walt!). Let it be noted that "Merry Christmas, Darling," which is in the first hour, was played locally by 'HNN just before the show

Last year, they went all Xmas the second weekend in November and preempted the shows, meaning they didn't play a single show from Nov. 12th until New Year's weekend. Two years ago, they still aired the AT40 shows even though they went 24/7 Xmas...sounds like that may be what they're doing this year? WPCH again aired the AT40 show this morning despite having gone all Xmas music.

WHNN is replaying the AT10 Xmas show Sunday evenings 8pm to 11pm EST. They are replaying the same show from Sunday morning. Thanks Dale, for checking WHNN AT10 airing in the morning.

WNSN (Sunny 101.5, South Bend/Mishawaka, Indiana) apparently went all-Christmas this weekend, and tossed the 80s show in favor of an AT10 Christmas show (introduced by Larry! I wondered if he did any of them) leading with "We Need A Little Christmas" followed by apparently James Taylor with "Deck The Halls."

KOOL-FM in Halifax doesn't seem to switch to all-Christmas format until closer to Christmas, if anything. They still aired the 1985 show yesterday, and it never did air any form of AT10, as it is a radio station devoted to older music (60s to 80s, maybe some 90s)
Of course, KOOL-FM may choose to drop AT40: The 80's on December 23 in favor of Christmas music, then get back on track when the year-end countdown is set to air.
