Anouk is representing the Netherlands this year. What? Never heard of her? There are a lot of good artists we are missing out on over here, unfortunately.
Back to Anouk. She's the Netherlands' rock goddess, and while the final of her song is not out, yet, it's looking to be a ballad. They have not been to the finals since 2004. My wife is Dutch and she says it isn't because of the quality of the artist, it's the committee in charge of selecting the song that is keeping them out.
I wonder if the same holds true for the UK. Humperdink donked last year, and while Bonnie Tyler is good, that's not a very good song for this competition.

I saw something on TV about Duncan Laurence from the Netherlands who won the Eurovision contest in 2019. And it looks like his song “Arcade” might be hitting AT40’s Hot AC chart soon.
