Unless if Premiere decides to change the setup of A/B shows midway through the year, which would be unusual... The only change I could see happening is making 1982 shows standalone. I'm probably jumping the gun here, but what if this has actually happened? So far, two stations that are known to play "B" shows have not aired 1985: KZOY is airing 1982 and KPRW is airing regular programming, which is something they do on weeks when there isn't a "B" show.

On this weekend's A show presentation from 3/20/82,Casey mentioned there were four songs that reached the top forty where a phone number became the title:"Beechwood 4-5789" by the Marvelettes,"634-5789" by Wilson Pickett,"5705" by City Boy & "834-5789" by Tommy Tutone-In early 1988,a fifth phone number titled song made the countdown:"853-5937" by Squeeze-It peaked at #32.

The title of the Logic song is the nationwide toll-free number for suicide prevention.

The title of the Logic song is the nationwide toll-free number for suicide prevention. Nowadays 988 is another number to be used for that, though the 1-800 number is still probably in operation. Incidentally, Logic grew up just about a mile or so from where I live now. I’ve never met him but can recognize some of the local references in his lyrics.

Wasn't released as a single in the U.S. (probably should have been) even though it got tons of 'album rock' airplay in '81: AC/DC's "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" has a six-digit Aussie phone number in it--'3-6-2-4-3-6'.
I'll bet whoever had that number 'down under' got as sick of prank calls as anyone in the U.S. who had 'Jenny's' number.

Lots of folks in the 3/20/82 show are no longer with us--J. Geils, ONJ, Ben Orr & Ric Ocasek of the Cars, Gary Garcia, Vangelis, Dan Fogelberg, Anita & June Pointer, Eddie Van Halen, James Ingram, Joni Sledge, Kenny Rogers, Paul Davis, Jeff Cook of Alabama, Greg Guidry, & Stevie Woods.

I'll bet whoever had that number 'down under' got as sick of prank calls as anyone in the U.S. who had 'Jenny's' number. And a few years earlier (1978) City Boy had a hit with "5.7.0.5", and whoever might have had that phone number in Britain (where it went top 10) may have lamented its success. At least in the US four digits usually aren't and weren't enough for a full call. However, the second phone number hit song of the 80s after Tommy Tutone's was "853-5937" by Squeeze in 1988. I pity anyone who had that number at the time, especially if someone named Angela was in the household.

The Time had a hit on the soul chart in '82 with "777-9311", which was the actual number of Prince's then-guitarist, Dez Dickerson. Not surprisingly, he had to change his number.

I wonder for AT40: The 80's 3/20/1982 in the last week top 3 recap "Centerfold" by the J. Giles Band sounded a little melted vinyl or something.
I also think Stevie Woods "Just Can't Win 'Em All" is another of those low charted on AT40 lost hit gems along with "Steal the Night". (Followed at #39 by another lost gem - Prism's "Don't Let Him Know").

Are any stations other than KZOY playing the 1985 show (as they never play the Optional Extras)?

KZOY is playing 1982 again. I hope they haven't stopped airing "B" shows altogether.
