Just the 80s or the 70s and 80s? Because aren't there 3 or 4 shows in a row from May/June 1975 that were only aired for the first time in the 2017-20 time frame?

May 1984 was one of those months that Premiere largely avoided for the first 9 years of the series; only 5/19 was played (5/26 was guest-hosted by CVD). Then 5/5 and 5/12 were aired in 2016 and 2017, respectively (the latter exhausting 1984). |

Yeah this was always a head-scratcher to me since May 1984 was a spectacular month in music, but yes this would be only the second time 5/5/84 is being aired in the 18th year of the series. This show contains Real Life's only other hit besides "Send Me an Angel": "Catch Me I'm Falling" spent just one week in the top 40 at #40 and dropped out the following week. Great song -- one of those that SHCH. Premiere apparently didn't think as highly of the song since they edited out the song's second verse in its only week. |

I predict 5/3/86 for the weekend of May 4. It last aired as a standalone in..... 2010! Such a great show -- maybe my favorite 1986 show (along with 7/19/86) and one of the best of the 80's. Weird that its only airing since 2010 was as a 'B' show (in 2018). |

"Help Me Rhonda" by The Beach Boys is one of the featured "AT40 Archive" songs from this week's A show presentation 4/25/81-It went to # 1 in the spring of 1965-Ten years later,Johnny Rivers released his version which peaked at # 22-He got Beach Boys member Brian Wilson to sing background vocals.
