With extras: Hour #1: "Take It On The Run" - REO Speedwagon Hour #2: "Hold On Loosely" - .38 Special Hour #3: "I Missed Again" - Phil Collins Hour #4: "How 'Bout Us" - Champaign I wonder if one of those will be replaced with "He Can't Love You" due to the recent passing of Michael Stanley?

Maybe Premiere is on a mission to dust off all the ones that haven't been played since 2010 or earlier? I would be in favor of that! So this almost has to mean the weekend of March 27th will be 3/22/86--it's hard to see any other show get picked for that weekend. I will guess that 4/19/86 happens in April as well (the weekend of April 17th?) -- another show that hasn't aired as an 'A' since 2009.

I'm hoping 4/20/1985 is on that list (originally aired in 2010 and repeated in 2015 as a "B" show). Thanks to its debut week happening on a guest-hosted show, it's the only time we'd hear The Time's The Bird since it dropped out on the 27th.

Oh man, the LDD in the 1984 show from “Pickles the clown”. How did Casey keep from not laughing as he was reading that letter? Do you have by any chance remembered what the first LDD was about since you listened 1984? I don't think anyone was posting in this thread. I don't know if you already received an answer but this is from my notes about the first LDD in the show from Mar 3, 1984: LDD: Thank You for Being a Friend – Andrew Gold (from 1978; from Kerry, a 15-year old w/ cancer, to her friends).

Regarding the upcoming show from 3/21/81,perhaps Premiere will restore "Mr.Lonely" & put "Ringo" in as one of the optional extras.

Also: 3/21/1981 was one of the few 1981 shows aired in 2001 as part of the 3 hour starting with hour #2 of the AT40 Flashback series, and on the Flashback version the 2 AT40 Archive songs were not played.

4/25/1981 is a show that's in rotation on the classic AT40 iHeart channel, so you don't have to wait for Premiere to re-air it. Plus the only way for 1980-1982 shows to air is for them to be "A" shows, now that 1987 and 1988 shows are stand-alones. Is there a schedule somewhere of what shows they play when?

Using this and the thread I posted above, you can gauge approximately what shows will air when (for the past three years, they have been playing three 80s shows and then one 70s show) EDIT: For today, the list of shows for the next two days (after today) is posted on the chat.

If you're accessing it from a desktop, you can see the chat feed further down the page, and the playlists are posted daily. There is also a list of all the shows on the channel here. But the chat feed will be more detailed as what shows will be playing, and at what approximate times.

I thought about that, and you're right, 4/20/85 is long overdue -- you could have in back to back weekends: April 17th - 4/19/86 April 24th - 4/20/85 And wouldn't it be nice if the following weekend were 5/1/82? I would be surprised if at least two of these three don't happen.

Sorry kani Are you talking about the Pickles LDD or the first one? I think the first LDD dealt with a girl with cancer who wanted to dedicate Thank You For Being A Friend to her friends for being there for her during her illness, the Pickles The Clown LDD was about a guy who makes friends who happen to be clowns. The letter writer says they visit kids in hospitals (as clowns of course) but eventually lose touch and so the letter writer dedicates Send In The Clowns to his friends. It was actually kind of sweet but still a little funny.

They played "Ringo" yesterday, and I nearly wrecked the car. This hour has included Georgie Fame and the Partridge Family. There's lots of autotune on current hit radio, but not many gunfire sound effects...

Yes, that's a great mix of songs! And I got the "Ballad Of Bonnie and Clyde" reference.
