Bad news! I can't listen to WVLI Kankakee online for AT40: The 70's 8/13/1972 this afternoon! Their online player is down and after I click on it, I get a "Sorry, unable to start player. Please reload the page to try again" message!

Listending to 1972 on WHEO, and the first and second hour optional extras (introduced by repurposed Casey clips) were played before the final segments of each hour, not after the end of the hours as usual. Did this happen to anyone else, or is it just a one-station thing? On WSQL on Thursday the extras were in their normal slots.

Mental note: Always check the WPAC player before the weekend is over to see if it was updated with that weekend's show. I got up unusually early (for a Saturday morning, anyway) so I could listen to last week's 1976 show before it was taken off, only to discover that the 1979 show from two weeks ago is still on the player. Oh well, we heard 1976 not too long ago, so it's all good. I don't wanna start a panic like others on this board....OMG, they haven't updated their player... MAYBE THEY ARE DROPPING THE SHOW!! But I do find it strange you can't discuss trading shows on this board or even mention off the grid stations airing AT40, but you could download it off of their player?? Maybe they were told to stop? They've done this before - going weeks and weeks without updating their player. I have a feeling this is the case meanwhile. BTW, the 1979 show is still on the player, so I'll have to find a station playing the show.

One thing about this weekend AT40: The 70's B show of 8/12/1978 show: To tie in with "Mr. Blue Sky" by ELO (Electric Light Orchestra - Also, "Mr. Blue Sky" one of Shadoe Stevens' favorite songs since he used it as a special Long Distance Dedication for someone in a January 1989 AT40 show), Casey mentioned that ELO had the most expensive billboard sign display on Hollywood, California's Sunset Strip back in circa 1977-1978 - anyone remember that ELO billboard?

"You're Having My Baby" was spending its first of three weeks at # 1-Paul Anka was labeled a male chauvinist pig by the feminist groups at the time that song was popular-When he performed that song a few years later, the title was slightly altered to "You're Having Our Baby".
