Just before 10:45 eastern time,it's now AT31 on KLFM. I can just picture some 'bloke' having their lazy Saturday afternoon disturbed by having to rush over to the station (in their Holden 'Ute', possibly ) to fix things...

Oh, the tragedy. We were deprived of hearing the musical masterpiece that is "The Battle Hymn of Lt. Calley" Meanwhile, hours 2 and 3 each have 15 songs, with two and one of them, respectively, being extras. In 1971 probably not too much editing was needed, but last night Sirius XM played a November 1976 countdown with 15 songs in the first hour (#40-27 plus an extra), and the resulting listening experience may have been one of those which helped inspire Ken Martin to create "supersized" shows.

Oh, the tragedy. We were deprived of hearing the musical masterpiece that is "The Battle Hymn of Lt. Calley" True, but right after that we also missed the final top 40 appearance by the then-27-year-old fading 'teen idol' Bobby Sherman! On Facebook, a commenter said that he was looking forward to hearing Miss Ross' rarely heard remake of "Reach Out I'll Be There". Hopefully he didn't give up on KLFM and miss it, as it was the first song played.

WXXM Rewind 92.1 FM Madison, Wisconsin right now is airing on AT40: The 70's Saturday morning the B show of 5/15/1971.
I can check later today the B show of 5/11/1979 (starting with hour #2) via WVLI Kankakee, Illinois
At least the #40 song of "Battle Hymn of Lt. Calley" by C Company and Terry Nelson from 1971 isn't that bad. You wouldn't reboot this song even in the Ukraine/Russia conflict.
As for Bobby Sherman at #39 with his final top 40 hit "The Drum", he will still hit the Hot 100 a few more times ending in 1972 then hit the Billboard Easy Listening AC chart once more in 1975.

Actually that's now available all week. Their AT40 podcast is now four hours no matter how long the show is. When it's a three hour show you have to move to the 1:00:00 mark to get to the show.

Was the AT40 5/12/1979 show one of the shows with the short lived "AT40 Mini Quiz" segment (5/12/1979 featured a mini-quiz question to guess the real name of Beatles member Ringo Starr)? How long did this segment last?

Another thing about AT40: The 70's 5/12/1979: This was the first week Chicago WBBM FM added AT40 to Sundays after previous AT40 Chicago affiliate WMET dropped the show.

Wonder if Ken Martin is doing a supersized version of 5/12/79. I highly doubt late 1978 and 1979 shows will get supersized, as at that time AT40 had plenty of extra time to fill once it expanded to four hours. It's the 1975 to September 1978 shows that need it the most, and that's approximately the time period that Ken would likely focus on.

That is, unless you'd like to hear an hour of regular programming. Sounds to me like they play a few obscure songs. For instance, last week's podcast started off with "Pass The Dutchie" by Musical Youth. Not sure when the last time I heard that song was, outside of AT40, that is.
