Doesn't the southern hemisphere actually spring forward this time of year? Yes. They "spring forward" by setting the clocks back one hour. Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! No. Just like in the U.S., they go ahead one hour in their spring (our fall), and back an hour in their fall (our spring). That is how Daylight Saving Time works. And that is why when Victoria State 'springs forward' on October 3, the show will be heard one hour earlier in the U.S. Then, a month later, when most of the U.S. ends DST, the show will start an additional hour earlier in most of the ju.S. (although not in my non-DST state). 10PM Eastern now, 9PM Eastern as of Friday October 8, 8PM Eastern as of Friday November 12. The reverse happens next March and April. This really shouldn't be that hard to understand!

Is anyone else having trouble listening to KLFM? My connection to their "Listen Now" link has been timing out on me for about 3 weeks now. None of the Stream Links or String URLs I found on the AT40 Stations page worked for me either. I'm hoping my cable provider (Cox cable, Tucson AZ) isn't blocking it somehow.

No, I just listened to the entire show via the exact same provider--Cox in Tucson. I had no issues at all. And hello, neighbor!

WPAC is playing 9/18/76-It was right around this time that I started my senior year in high school-These songs certainly bring back a boatload of memories.

I recall being a regular weekly listener to AT40 beginning in 1976 and even developed my own weekly Top 10 countdown--taping songs off the radio instead of buying 45's, like I did in the past. Many times I would listen to the show and then modify my Top 10 to move songs I liked better into the #1 position. It was about this time I decided I would pursue a career as a DJ, which I did from 1979-1993. I even recall when I went to a broadcasting school in early 1979 telling others in my class that I wanted to be the next Casey Kasem--one of my teachers told me that Casey didn't need a replacement--guess he was right.

Thanks for the verification, mga707. Must be blocked by a router firewall setting on my end, as I've tried it on three different computers and three different browsers on my WiFi network. Guess I have some investigation to do... Hello back to you as well!

^WNTY plays last week's show on Saturday and this week's show on Sunday. Just like former Madison, Wisconsin AT40: The 70's affiliate WMGN used to do.

I beg your pardon dth1971 but when I tuned into WQRK this morning they led off the countdown with "I'll Be There" by The Jackson 5 which is 1970! I'm not a liar or hearing things!!!

WPNC started 15 minutes before the top of the hour. Playing 1976 The 1984 show, which aired right before this one, also started about 15 minutes early. I set my recording to start 15 minutes before the top of the hour and they were already recapping the top 3 from the prior week.
