Surprising to hear the UN-edited "Fooled Around and Fell In Love", especially on the song's final week in the 40. Guess they weren't as pressed for time as in some other weeks. Nah, they just edited a few more songs than normal (I know that "Rhiannon" was one of them). I think that it was because of the fact that the song was in its final week in the countdown that they played the album version. Yes, as I listened I got that impression as well. One other 'head scratcher' was that they played the full spoken intro to "Kiss and Say Goodbye", but then cut the last part of the song off.

We also got the long intro to Marvin's "I Want You" which you rarely hear.

Well. So much for that. On a side note, KOZI seems like an odd station for AT40 as the rest of the programming is conservative news talk. They are obviously just a small town mom and pop station, so maybe it is a throwback to the days AM radio offered oldies programming on weekends.

Don't you even remember being odd stations for original run AT40 in the mid 1980's WLS AM 890 Chicago (At the time it was carrying a late Sunday night "Sex Talk" show, WLS AM would drop AT40 in June 1987 outsourcing it to sister station WYTZ Z95 Chicago that month) and WBZ 1030 AM Boston?

Embarrassing admission: back in '76, I thought "Got to Get You Into My Life" was a new Beatles song, until someone later told me it wasn't.

Casey mentioned that "Baretta" star Robert Blake was a member of The Little Rascals-I fondly remember watching their comedy shorts when I was coming of age-Odd they aren't shown on TV anymore.

The same is true for KYOS, which I used today for the 1976 show; not having listened to them before, I found they feature rightwing talk during the week and oldies on weekends. Their AT40 presentation was fine except for skipping the second optional extra, but I heard several unwanted promos and clips of Sean Hannity, Mark Levine, and Glenn Beck in the commercial breaks. Casey might have found it amusing that such a station would carry him, given that his own politics were diametrically opposed to KYOS' lineup.

Who knows what Premiere will play next, but for the last weekend in June 6/24/78 as a standalone would be a good option; it's been only played once, in 2014, 1978 hasn't been featured by itself since March, and it'll have been over a month since that year was even a B. It appears that next weekend's show is from June 24, 1978, which last aired in 2018 (as a B show).

The song Save Your Kisses for Me, seems to be similar sound of Tie a Yellow Round the Oak Tree...
