Got KOZI going with the VLC player right now recording with Audacity -- stream sounds decent. I think it started on time? Maybe a few minutes late at the most. How do you get Audacity to record the stream? The couple times I've used it, it records off of the speakers which is much lower quality.

Unfortunately they cut-off the program at 10:00 PM without playing number one. First hour ran late. I suspect this will happen again tonight.
"You are correct, sir!"

Well. So much for that.
On a side note, KOZI seems like an odd station for AT40 as the rest of the programming is conservative news talk.

Well I will give prop's to KOZI for being the only station I know that played the 78 version with Mark Elliot. I would say however playing it in it's entirety would have been preferred as they started late so it didn't seem appropriate to cut the AT show short due to their own programming mess up. Especially since that talk show right before sounded like a replay of an earlier in the week show based on the last 10 minutes I caught where they were talking about Cinco de Mayo and what one of the callers were saying about what they planned on doing Friday/Saturday and Mothers Day meant it was something from last week so really was it that necessary to play that show again, oh well beggars can't be choosers.

The negative of automation.

Sad that the end got cut from the KOZI broadcast of the 1978 show ,but it was nice to hear the extras giving info on Marks career, hopefully the 2 tribute shows will get another airing as i would have loved to hear the extras from the 1982 offering

Could the B show be 1976, 1978, or 1979 to go with this 1975 A show?

Could the B show be 1976, 1978, or 1979 to go with this 1975 A show? Hopefully, 1979, as 1976 is a little too close (just a year after) and the Marc Elliott special was 1978 (even though it is likely that few of us heard that show). 1977 would be out of the question, for obvious reasons.

That is true - hearing everything except for #1 is better than nothing.

Well now, this one wasn't quite as dusty as the 3/20/71 show, but another one that hasn't been played in way too long. Good to see Premiere digging back to the early years of the series and finally replaying these shows. A rare case these days where there will be an entirely new set of extras.

I'm also thinking there is a decent chance that the show for the weekend of May 22nd will be 5/22/76, which would eliminate 1976 from contention. But that's if next week's show end up being 5/22/76.

In a week where the highest debut was all the way down at No. 82, here's my predictions:
* "Swearing To God" – Frankie Valli. (The highest of those debuts, peaked at No. 6.) * "Rockin' Chair" – Gwen McRae. (Next highest, at No. 83, peaked at No. 9.) * "I'm Not In Love" – 10cc. (The things they'll do for a debut, it was the third-highest debut at No. 84, would be a big No. 2 hit.)

I would have loved to get the full show but at least I did with the 80's (which I thought I had when someone here helped get the ones I didn't have).
