2/10/79 sounds good to me-If that show gets played,2/6/71 would likely be featured as well. I hope it's 2/10/79 - that would be one of the shows never before heard in four-hour form (here in the states, anyway; that was the first show that had the first hour offered to international affiliates). This would also perfectly set up the yet-unplayed show from April 14, 1979 - which would, in turn, make still another unplayed show (June 23) likely (and then 8/18, which was a three-hour only show wouldn't be out of the question either, although I would imagine they'd go with 8/19/1972 that weekend - possibly with 8/18/1979 as a "B" option).

Optional extras for 2/9/1974 back in 2013:
Hour #1: "Mockingbird" - Carly Simon & James Taylor Hour #2: "Sunshine On My Shoulder" - John Denver Hour #3: "She's Gone" - Daryl Hall & John Oates
"Fingertips (Part II)" will be included in the show BUT "I Want To Hold Your Hand" has been deleted.
^ That last part was quoted from page 733. Unsure if anything changes for this airing.

I know someone on here who'll love that ^ pairing. Two years I enjoy very much. Going to guess it will be hard to find an airing of the "b" show though.

Enjoying the 2/5/77 show on KLFM. Lots of pleasant memories of that time, my first year at the U of A(rizona). Funny how the two worst songs bookend the countdown. At least Ray Stevens' chickens are kind of funny, although I would quickly tire of hearing them after a couple of spins. The #1 song, though, is just plain AWFUL. Hated it then, opinion has not changed 43 years later.

Among the several notable stories and segments in the 2/5/77 show are Casey's tribute to the two blind men who worked the boards at their radio station when AT40 was playing, ensuring it ran on time and smoothly. That's a talent literally lost on many radio stations today which rely on automatic play and downloads, and as a result at some stations with this and many other shows we get mistakes, such as starting too early or late, missing or repeated segments, the incorrect show airing, etc.

I got bits and pieces of the 1977 show on KLFM due to a long phone conversation, but I caught the Ace Frehley electrocution story in which would become an inspiration to the Kiss song "Shock Me" off of the Love Gun album released later on in 1977.

That's good news. Thanks for the update. (I take it the on demand links are still gone, though.) Returned on Saturday. Select "Podcasts" in upper right corner. Scroll down to Casey Kasem and press play symbol. The old URL links did not work.
