the unaired November, 1976 show stands a good chance of being played in another two months! Yes, that will be the last weekly show from 1976 for 2019. And 'tis the season (almost), it will be paired with this year's first Christmas program.

"Dominique" by The Singing Nun was played as an extra on the countdown from 9/5/70-Casey stated it was a number one hit in 1964-That's incorrect-The song held down the top spot from 12/7 to 12/28/63.

Interesting: Casey had no problem saying "Get Up I Feel Like a Sex Machine" Although he did shorten the rather redundant actual title, "Get Up I Feel Like Being Like a Sex Machine".

Is it the holidays in general that you don't like, or just the programming aspect of the classic AT40 stations during the holidays (or more specifically November and December)?

Not my favorite time of year in general, but specifically HATE the fact that certain radio stations want to cram 'Holiday music' down our throats 24/7 starting on November 1! I know said stations claim it's a ratings winner, but I know far more people who hate it than love it.

These were the Premiere Extras when this show aired in 2014 Hour #1: "Nadia's Theme" - Barry De Vorzon & Perry Botkin Jr. Hour #2: "I Know I'm Losing You" - Temptations (Original AT40 Extra) Hour #3: "I Only Wanna Be With You" - Bay City Rollers (#54) Also get ready for some "Cow Bells" Optional extras of the 1976 show stay the same.

I know said stations claim it's a ratings winner, but I know far more people who hate it than love it. Yeah I hear you. I really like the holidays, but I can do without all of the commercialized Xmas music, especially that which preempts the AT40 classic shows. And I really don't get the appeal in listening to the same rotation of Xmas songs (e.g. "Step Into Christmas" by EJ, "All I Want for Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey, that John Lennon song, etc.). But apparently, a large contingent of the minivan soccer moms/dads driving their kids all over town get a bang out of that stuff.
