Combining the 2 networks, this week's shows are the 11th from 1975 and 10th from 1976 which is tied with 72, 78 and 79 for second place in 2011.

Thanks for the corrections! I went in and made them all except #4...the 10/9/76 show just aired this year back on 10/8/11. Did the 10/2/76 show air at some point? Sorry wahoo. I marked the wrong date for the show. You were right. It should be 10/9/76, not 10/2/76.

So far, except for several months in 1979, which they added to the mix about a year ago, the only month that hasn't been played yet is October, 1975.

Yup - and the only untapped month in the 80's is May 1984. I would be willing to bet we get shows from those two months in 2012... Too bad that Premiere wouldn't air the 10/11/75 show with the AT40 record 9 debut songs...of course Tic Tac Dough's Wink Martindale sub-hosted that week.

On the other end of the scale, these are the months in the 70s that have had all possible shows played. Had they played 2/19/72 next week, that month would have been added to this list..... March 1972...4 shows including the Dick Clark hosted show July 1974....3 shows with the other guest-hosted Feb. 1975....same as above Jan. 1978....all 4 shows have been played May 1978....3 shows with the other guest hosted July 1978....4 shows with the other guest hosted (5 show month) So 2 weeks ago when the 1/28/78 show was played, the first month with 4 or more Casey hosted shows had all of its shows played by Premiere.

Wasn't the Top 100 of 78 2 3 hour shows that Premiere pared down from the original 4 hour shows?

I thought so. I thought I remembered reading a lot of complaints about it when it aired.

Based on what I've seen in this list, this should give Premiere an idea of what shows haven't been aired yet and could help them decide what to air later this year.
Looks like October 1975 is the only full month that has yet to air – the ones with the original moog theme to start the show and "Shuckatoom" to end the program.
Interested to see what program comes up for the Fourth of July special this year.

Thanks Wahoo again for doing this--love it for analysis. It's just unbelieveable that Premiere has played 4-8-78 FOUR times and NO OTHER week of 1978 in the six Aprils (2007 to 2012) and there were three other Saturdays to choose from (excluding AT 40 goes to the movies on 4-1-78) which left 4-15, 4-22 and 4-29 and NONE were guest-hosted!!!!

That is the way I felt earlier in the week when I was under the impression that they were playing 6/25/77 for the 4th time. Alas, that is not the case. It is amazing how they get into these situations where they are forced to play reruns. This week's 80s show is a rerun because they needed to play a 1980 show at some point. But the shows from 5/31, 6/7 and 6/14/80 have never been played so they could have played one of those shows and avoided all these reruns from 6/28 through July 1980.
