Hear hear, Franky! My thoughts exactly. The whole point of AT40 is to hear the original countdowns and songs in the original CONTEXT. If you just want to hear the songs, you can listen to oldies radio or your Ipod, etc. I LOVE the mistakes, the weird edits, the censored songs, and the obscure songs.

I assumed only Premiere chose to play Part 2. I didn't remember Casey actually playing Part 2, let alone for so many weeks in a row. It would be interesting to know why they did that back then.

See jd's post on the 80s show about Man in the Mirror. If Premiere can edit songs like that for whatever reason, they can edit a wrong song like Got to Give it up. They obviously can edit songs.
