AT40 with Ryan Seacrest on WKSE-FM Kiss FM 98.5

I am waiting for it on WZPL-FM 99.5 Greenfield, IN at it is supposed to be on air now at 10.00 EST and there is filler music instead.

Although AT40 has been announced after Backtrax USA , the 90´s, it seems this station does not give AT40 Hot AC online and it is giving filler music instead. This is the second Sunday I am wating for the show. And this apparently new situation is from the starting of the new year.

Or the show slot has been moved. The schedule says it is Sundays at 10 am.

I don't know about this week, but last week WZPL did not air AT40 in its regular timeslot at all. I listened over-the-air and only heard regular programming.

Edit: I just went to AT40's website, and it now lists WZPL playing the show from 6pm-10pm Eastern time on Sundays.

Thanks for the info about WZPL . It´s better for me the same show on CKNX-FM 101.7 The One, Wingham , Ontario , Canada, which has the show on Sundays at 4 pm EST.

You can not trust this station. Today it has started AT40 show eariler, maybe at 05.30 EST, 30 minutes earlier, so I missed part of the show.

So 91.5 The Beat , CKBT - FM , from Ontario, Canada will be the one.

I feel the same way---American Top 40 since Casey left in 2004 has been little more than a gossip show. While I can understand why they hired Ryan Seacrest (he's represents what today's youth is interested in), he will never replace Casey as far as I'm concerned. That's why I only listen to the show when there's a special of some kind--definitely not the music that's out now (rather obnoxious and lacking in quality). But as long as today's youth like it, I guess that's what counts.

Comparing the show to what the Ontario station is airing right now, WKSE-FM Kiss FM 98.5 seems to have started today´s show 1 hour earlier , 05.00 EST.

AT40 web site and the station web site still say the show is Saturdays 06.00 to 10.00 am EST.

I agree. You see, I am a fanatic of countdowns since I was a child. My experience with AT40, first with Casey and then with Shadoe, was the reason I get all kind of radio equiment, recorders, mini discs, etc.

I followed all kind of chart shows, from different countries and I was having the feeling I was losing my interest in music and charts. Lately I listen to the chart shows like a robot, I dont pay attention to what the DJ says or even to the music played.

I thought it was something dued to my age, time passes and that has its price. But, noway, when I started again to listen to the old shows by Casey, I recover my interest in what the radio guy says, all the chart facts, without losing any word. And that only happens with the old legends like Kasem, Stevens or even Bob Kingsley.

New hosters are so much blah blah and you can hear them and you dont keep anything, like a background rumour. They can have all the technology and facilities, they cannot have the same reach or impact. And dont talk about the music, that is another story.

Since a couple of weeks CNKX-FM is impossible via reciva wifi radio. The station has to have changed a parametre that makes the stream buffering forever in a reciva wifi radio.

Station´s own player works perfectly, thou.

AC Hot is Sundays at 04.00 pm EST.
