Smooth 70s are changing their Sunday air time of AT40 from 9pm (4pm ET) to 9am UK (4am ET) Same as Saturday Their trails say that the Saturday show will in future weeks be a repeat of the previous weeks Sunday show, so Next Saturday at 9am UK should be 1970 Part 2 again & the Sunday airing will be whichever show they decide to air from the ones offered next week. Hope that makes sense www.smoothradio.co.uk/music/smooth-radio-70s/casey-kasems-american-top-40-the-70s/7a212They continue to play the extras, but now carry the news each hour & then play a song of their choice from a weekend feature ahead of the countdown each hour, so each hour now starts around 10 mins past the hour. This means they have dropped the extra songs they were playing between the segments & have replaced them with short promos. A major market is added: 94.5 KOOL-FM, Phoenix, Saturdays 6-9AM Is that 6 am Phoenix time? Correct--Mountain Standard Time ALL YEAR--no DST in most of AZ. |

KMCQ hasn't aired the show for at least a few weeks during this time slot. I'm not sure whether they dropped it or just moved the show to another time. |

Halifax Kool 96.5 is supposed to play the 4-hour edition, but today it is playing the 3-hour Top 37 version of the "Top 50 songs of the 70's" special from 1/5/1980. I wonder if this show was truncated for all the stations this week. There are only a small number of stations that play the 4-hour version so there won't be too many opportunities to find out.

KLFM last night played the full 4 hour show and smooth 70s and Oldies 93.3wil be airing the full show over the weekend so the 4 hour version was definitely offered.don't know why Kool FM didn't air the 4 hour version as it's played the last couple of 70s 4 hour shows offered.I'm surprised Premiere didn't do a 3 hour condensed version like the top 100 hits of 1978 |

They just started the show at #37, so it looks like they don't do the four-hour edition anymore.

It appears that KOOO is done with AT40 The 70s. The website has changed to whatever1019.com and the moniker is 80s/90s/Whatever. The link on this page to hear the station no longer works, and according to yes.com they are not playing the show at the time they always previously did. I could not get the new "listen live" link to work.
