WLS Chicago DID play the first optional extra this morning. A rare lack of commercial load, perhaps. Thank you for the update!

I listened to WODC this weekend for the Dick Clark show so I could complete some patch repairs for last weekend's recording. Somehow, I had the impression they played all 3 extras. Instead, they only played 1 out of 3. It wasn't a big deal for this program since all the extras were introduced by Larry Morgan. However, I do prefer to record the extras if they were part of the original program. I had been meaning to check out WODC for some time now since it appears Mike Eiland at the station is a true advocate for the show, plus they now air the 4 hour 1978-1979 broadcasts. I also wonder (if anyone knows) whether or not they make it a priority to play those extras which were part of the original broadcast (the original AT40 extras)? Anyone that listens to this station on a regular basis - do you play only one of the optional extras 'normally'? Any updates on this station guys and gals? Do they play only one optional extra, or all of them?

Man, you beat me. I was going to post this as I just saw it. I am glad I can now get this on terrestrial radio. The bad thing is, it is on AM radio. Maybe I will have to use the online stream because hopefully online it will be in stereo, maybe? Either way, Detroit has Casey back...now if some station would take the 80s again (like WNIC used to...) I've got their stream on now, and it's definitely stereo-capable (playing MG Kelly Back to the 70s, which is) www.am580radio.com/live/music-player/ (high b/w) www.am580radio.com/live/music-player/lb.html (low b/w) And if you use DAR.fm, it's already there! Thanks for the additional streaming link - I'll add it to the station listing.

A couple of updates for you. 92.5 KOMA Oaklahoma City Sunday 9am airs all the extras. Stations KODJ & WDJX which air the show at 10am are not avaliable outside the US 6ix Perth Australia didn't air the extras last Tuesday. They played each hour straight through with sweeps between the seqments & then aired 3 songs of the choice from the year between the hours. Hope that's useful Alan Alan, Do you have any info on WDJX?

So, should I drop this from the list? I think so. I tuned in last week and still had no luck.

Do you have any info on WDJX?
Are you talking about 99.7 WDJX in Louisville? They are a CHR station. I don't think they would air AT40 The 70's (or 80's). WGTK 970 in Louisville has AT 40 The 70's Saturday night at 6 PM (Eastern time)
