Would it be feasable to create a table for the affiliates?: station call letters, website/frequency, link for stream, time/day of the week, etc. Looking at the buttons in the message-compose page, there are several pertaining to tables: create a table, add a column, and add a row... only thing is, you can't look at the table in real time as you would in, say, MS Word; you can only see the codes and the information that goes between them. And even if it could be pulled off, there's no clues as to how it would look.

OK, I asked it in 80s, I'll ask it here: of the 70s stations that play all three opt-extras, which also play out the closing theme music? (I realize Premiere cuts it short on their own...)

GMG Radio in the UK has been sold today, which puts into question the future of Smooth 70s.
It will take a few months for the sale to be approved by the UK regulators, but we may loose that outlet before the end of the year.

OMG ! and it has been sold to Global Radio, the group that axes only digital radio formats ( like Smooth 70´s) and doesnt care about american chart shows and american content ( like AT40 on Core Fresh Hits for the UK) , Ryan´s Secreast (Entertainment Edge on 95.8 Capital FM), both shows lasted the same time as a candy in a school.

Sadly, yes Global are the buyers.
I would be very surprised if Smooth 70s continues, but there will be a few months before they get proper control, so i posted it really as a heads up
If you regularly use Smooth 70s for AT40, try and find another outlet from the list, just in case it is axed by Global.

That is unfortunate if that happens especially since Smooth 70s carries the 4 hour version of 1979 shows.

I hope at Global Radio they will have that commercial view, the show is so acclaimed by the Smooth 70´s audiences and has a lot of feedback. People love the station and one of the reasons is Casey´s shows.
When Global will take over, I hope they consider this is THE SHOW and if they even think about of axing the station, move THE SHOW to the mother station Smooth FM or whatever they are going to call it or to another of the stations which Global owns, like Gold, etc.
Real Radio, another GMG Radio also has Ryan´s On Air every night , for example. What happens is that it is only GMG Radio the group that cares about american radio content in The UK.

What happens is that it is only GMG Radio the group that cares about american radio content in The UK. Global don't have a great history with syndicated shows & i doubt that any will survive. Certainly Real will become Heart who air no syndicated shows. Global are so scared of playing none "tested" music, they are unlikely to air AT40. It all has top go through yet and that could take some time as other UK radio groups are now objecting to the sale. I won't go into all the possibilities here except to say that they may have to give up Gold & Smooth to get Real. Other groups like Bauer or UTV may end up with Smooth and /or Gold, but both of those are also unlikely to run AT40...based on what they do now. The Ryan Seacrest one is certainly gone unless the whole deal is blocked as Real is what Global really want, so they can expand the Heart network.

Although 2ST plays the extras, they are all cut short so the news can start at the top of each hour. Thanks - I made a notation.

So did they eventually play the show? The website still says it starts at 5:00 p.m., but it actually starts at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Thanks for the update!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday 1 pm - 4 pm CKWS - Greatest Hits CKWS104.3FM - Kingston Ontario CANADA 104.3 FM player.ckwsfm.com(UPDATED JULY 18 2011) According to poster michaelcasselman: I can't vouch for the online stream, but OTA they play all the extras (as far as I can tell, I just 'found' the show in the last two weeks) NOTE: Station also airs AT 40 - 80s - on Sunday at 1 pm EST I listened to this station today, when CKRU's stream wouldn't work, and it played all three optional extras in their proper places. Thanks for the update confirmation.

WLS-FM has played some of the op extras (This Sunday they did play "I Go Crazy" and "Grease") so I should say that they do play the extras but not consistently. Thanks for the update - I'll make a notation.

The website still says it starts at 5:00 p.m., but it actually starts at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. 70's show from 7-10 pm ET was immediately followed by the 80's show from 10 pm- 2 am ET. Thanks for the time confirmation.

Hi pizzzzzza, not sure what's going on with WJGH, but they are now Jack 107.3 (just like WQSR), and were not airing the 70's show yesterday. My guess is that they are no longer a subscriber of the 70s series...not sure if they would have picked up the 80s? I don't know why since I make it a point to pretty much avoid listening to anything from that city and did so even when living there but I emailed the fine folks at this station today and just got a reply. They do not air any AT40 shows any longer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ UPDATE JUNE 26 2012: Ok - this station is dropped from the list Saturday 6 am - 9 am WJGH - Magic 107.3 - Jacksonville's Greatest Hits - Jacksonville FL 107.3 FM www.iammagic1073.com/mediaplayer/Plays Optional Extras------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
