I listened to WODC this weekend for the Dick Clark show so I could complete some patch repairs for last weekend's recording. Somehow, I had the impression they played all 3 extras. Instead, they only played 1 out of 3. It wasn't a big deal for this program since all the extras were introduced by Larry Morgan. However, I do prefer to record the extras if they were part of the original program. I had been meaning to check out WODC for some time now since it appears Mike Eiland at the station is a true advocate for the show, plus they now air the 4 hour 1978-1979 broadcasts. I also wonder (if anyone knows) whether or not they make it a priority to play those extras which were part of the original broadcast (the original AT40 extras)? Anyone that listens to this station on a regular basis - do you play only one of the optional extras 'normally'?

A couple of updates for you. 92.5 KOMA Oaklahoma City Sunday 9am airs all the extras. Stations KODJ & WDJX which air the show at 10am are not avaliable outside the US 6ix Perth Australia didn't air the extras last Tuesday. They played each hour straight through with sweeps between the seqments & then aired 3 songs of the choice from the year between the hours. Hope that's useful Alan Thanks alann! I'll make notations about all of these particular stations. Question - I don't see WDJX on either list - do you have any information on them - thank you!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday 2 pm - 5 pm KLCM - Six-Plus Decades of Great Music - Lewistown MT 95.9 FM player.radioloyalty.com/Universal/stationPreview.php?stationID=3155----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the past few weeks they didn't air the show during the above time slot. I'm not sure if they dropped the show or changed the broadcast time. Any confirmation of this station?

Listened to this one today. It is Monday 4am US eastern time/ 9am UK time. They played all the extras. They inserted the news & weather between each hour, so the next hour starts about 8 mins past the hour. I couldn't get that link to work though (probably my set up), but got it via the tune-in site. alann - I did try the link - it worked, but only after I had to install a Windows Media Player add-on.

Check out 2ST from Nowra, NSW Australia. Their promo page has history highlights from the chart date, a copy of an AT40 trade ad and even some embedded videos of a few of the hits. www.2st.com.au/index.php/shows/feature-shows/casey-kasems-american-top-40Their listed airtime is 6pm Mondays. My calculation puts that at 4am Monday here in the Eastern U.S. There are two seperate listen live buttons but they both appear to use the same link. 2st.com.au/streaming.htmlI just wish one of the Aussie stations would do a Saturday morning airing which would come on Friday evening here! Thanks for the new station 40fan! I'll add it to the list.

Although 2ST plays the extras, they are all cut short so the news can start at the top of each hour.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday 1 pm - 4 pm CKWS - Greatest Hits CKWS104.3FM - Kingston Ontario CANADA 104.3 FM player.ckwsfm.com(UPDATED JULY 18 2011) According to poster michaelcasselman: I can't vouch for the online stream, but OTA they play all the extras (as far as I can tell, I just 'found' the show in the last two weeks) NOTE: Station also airs AT 40 - 80s - on Sunday at 1 pm EST I listened to this station today, when CKRU's stream wouldn't work, and it played all three optional extras in their proper places.

Yes, CKWS is a reliable station for both 70s and 80s shows. All of the extras are played on both shows and the sound quality is excellent.

So did they eventually play the show? The website still says it starts at 5:00 p.m., but it actually starts at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. 70's show from 7-10 pm ET was immediately followed by the 80's show from 10 pm- 2 am ET.

WLS-FM has played some of the op extras (This Sunday they did play "I Go Crazy" and "Grease") so I should say that they do play the extras but not consistently.

Their web site still list the show in their schedule (I believe it is in Mountain Time): www.kxlo-klcm.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=22&Itemid=30But I tuned to this station for three consecutive weeks from end of April to mid-May and they didn't air the show.

Hi pizzzzzza, not sure what's going on with WJGH, but they are now Jack 107.3 (just like WQSR), and were not airing the 70's show yesterday. My guess is that they are no longer a subscriber of the 70s series...not sure if they would have picked up the 80s? I don't know why since I make it a point to pretty much avoid listening to anything from that city and did so even when living there but I emailed the fine folks at this station today and just got a reply. They do not air any AT40 shows any longer.
