I've been going through some programs I recorded last week, and wanted to post some observations:

First, the good:

KCLH: I recorded the 9/25/76 show on 9/29/13, and was surprised to find that it contained all 3 optional extras despite the listing on this board not reflecting the optional extras. Also, it was a superb stereo stream.

Now, the bad:

KCLH: I also recorded the same show the day prior (on 9/28/13), and found out that while it did contain the optional extras, the station started the 80's show before playing the final 2 songs in the 70's countdown.

WTKU: I recorded the 9/25/76 show on 9/28/13, and they omitted songs 27 to 23 in the countdown completely.

KOOI: I've tried numerous times to record shows from their stream, but they consistently start the countdown mid-song, and often never get to the final songs...they switch to local programming instead. I've given up on them completely.

Just wanted to pass these observations on in case someone is keeping track...

Thanks for the update on KCLH - I updated Plays Optional Extras on the station's listing.

OK, so I recorded WASK via dar.fm this AM. Went from She's Gone to a promo for "Casey Kasem's the 70s" to a call sign read to a logo to fade to silence. So I think the very first post on WASK was probably right -- they are airing AT40 the 70s but not playing it online for some reason.

P.S. So sad re Smooth 70s. It was a great station all around but I assume it is a casualty of merger.

So, does anyone think I should put WASK back in the list?

    Station listing is correct, BUT they need a 2nd listing on the '80's thread.  They usually play the '80's version of AT 40 over the '70's
    edition by about a 3 to 1 ratio most months.

    Today they featured regular programming at their normal AT 40 time. Since they have been inconsistent in the past, it's probably too soon
    to know if they have actually dropped the countdown this time.  They certainly have been hit or miss, so it's definitely worth monitoring 
    before any final decision can be made with this affiliate.
