KQMA played 2 out of 3 extras this week. Just a few weeks ago they played none.

Unavailable stream at CKRU this week. Hope it's just a glitch. Thankfully this listing took me to KFRC as a backup. One little peeve about them though; LONG commercial breaks. That seems to be the case on all CBS-run stations like WOGL and WODS.

On Casey Kasem´s American Top 40 Facebook group, a member asked about stations in Australia / New Zealand taking AT40 The 70´s / The 80´s . Another member answered : Australia: 2AY (Albury) : radio2ay.com.au/articles/program_2ay2NUR (Newcastle) www.2nurfm.com/schedule.htmlGold 1242, Victoria. theradio.com.au/index.phpAnd select call letters: 3YB (Warrnambool), 3WM (Horsham), 3CS (Colac), 3SH (Swan Hill), 3HA (Hamilton). For example 3CS (Solac) : 3cs.com.au/articles/program_3csIn conclusion, it looks like in Australia, seeing the stations´s web sites, there is a whole network in the country which takes the show in all those stations with those call letters. For example 3HA Hamilton, Victoria: 3ha.com.au/articles/program_3ha Show is on Sundays It seems it is the same time as station above, so it seems it could be networked. Another example. 3WM Horsham, Victoria, Australia: 3wm.com.au/articles/program_3wmIt seems it could be networked. On the left hand, there is a colunm with icons: Facebook, look for, email, share and now playing / listen online. That is what I have seen. Right now the 70´s show is playing. It´s local time (Sunday right now) : This is a hard work to do, try to monitor all these stations. So the 1st step is go to theradio.com.au/index.php and start selecting the mentioned above call letters, selecting Victoria, too. But, what about the rest of states and more stations with their call letters?. It´s craze. Or maybe, it would be better to find the station which has the best bitrate / streaming, the best format, the one which plays all the extras, etc, among all them, and forget the rest, because there is a jungle of stations Down Under and it all a mess. In New Zealand: The well known Solid Gold FM.

That seems to be the case on all CBS-run stations like WOGL and WODS. I too had to go to KFRC stream and got tired of the LONG commercial breaks and because of that I missed two songs because they didn't get back to the show and I had to go back and reset myself on the stream all over again.

Regarding this fairly new entry: Saturday 11 pm - 2 am (Sunday morning) KMXZ - MIXfm - Tucson's Soft Rock - Tucson AZ 94.9 FM players.jbgmedia.com/KMXZ/player.htmlI listened at 11:50 pm Sat night and they played 2 non-AT40 songs. At midnight, they started playing commercials, and so far have been playing 35 minutes of constant commercials with no music or programming. I've never listened to a 35-minute commercial break IN MY LIFE and I have to quit now. My guess this is a 60-minute commercial break, if not 3 hours. Please remove this entry from the list (and scold KMXZ for playing commercials for this long!!) I'm not sure what to do about this particular station - according to atruefan, the show was played last week at 11 pm EST. Same situation happened to me this weekend. The announcer stated AT40 was up next after Maneater by Hall & Oates. Halfway through the song, we were abruptly sent to non-stop commercial segments. I gave up after 20 minutes. Apparently the show is not available online but is probably available locally. So I agree that it should be noted that AT40 is not available on this station from the Internet.

I would not add any station that is not confirmed and that does not have a direct link. There's too many other opportunities available than to waste time chasing after something that may or may not exist.

A time update on the 2CA Canberra, ACT, Australia, airing.
It is still airs Sundays 4 pm to 7 pm local time (AEST). But that is now a 14-hour time difference to U.S. Eastern time, so it runs Sundays from 2 am to 5 am EDT.
Time difference chart between U.S. Eastern time and Australia Eastern time:
14 hours--first Sunday in April until first Sunday in October 15 hours--first Sunday in October until first Sunday in November 16 hours--first Sunday in November until second Sunday in March 15 hours--second Sunday in March until first Sunday in April

Maybe find what it is the best station, considering best stream, best bitrate, best day ( especially if the show is in weekdays), best presentation ( including or not the optional extras), regularity... Things like those to select the station which can be listed. List them all would be a madness, especially if they change, or the local time change, etc. If RadioTime doesnt do it must be for a reason, appart of they know their existence. If just to know they are also there, in case of emergency, in case for example they dont axed the show in Christmas Holidays, like some american radio stations do, etc. And I put my hand on fire there must be another jungle of stations down under taking the 80´s as well..

Quick update - 1st hour ended at 1126A; Me, you, and a dog named Boo extra started at 1129A; and second hour started at 1132A. All times central. The show ended at 132P CT. Definitely heard 1st & 2nd optional extras but not sure about the third. Had to step away about the time it would have aired. WWIS 1240 AM - Black River Falls, WI 1130A - 230P ET Sunday Pizzzzza- I believe you are aware of the hit and miss with the stream. So, what do you think will be the "official" start and end time for this, based on the past few weeks? I noticed the website says 1 pm CST for the start of AT 40 - 70s. I'm currently listening to WWIS AM and they started their AT 40 - 70s broadcast exactly at 1030A CT. Although this the first time I have listened to their broadcast from the start, the 3 or 4 times I have heard the broadcast it ended at or just a few minutes after 130P CT. So despite what their webpage says their broadcast time continues to be 1030A-130P CT.

You can add WVTK to the list of stations that play optional extras. I heard all 3 of them on last weekend's show.

pizzzzza, Unless I missed it somewhere in this listing (I tip my hat to your ongoing efforts with this information!), here's another station to add to the list: WGTK-AM 970 in Louisville, Kentucky www.970wgtk.com/They air the show on Saturdays from 6-9 pm, eastern time. Normally, you can listen to their Internet programming stream. However, I'm not aware if it's not available for AT40. Also, I do not know if they play the extras. Perhaps we'll learn about this later today. What's interesting about this station -- it's an all (conservative) talk format. Apparently someone knows the value (like we do!) of the brand and voice of Casey Kasem.

Thanks for the info Pete - and thank you for your kind words - coming from you, that means a lot to me! I'll add it to the list when I get a chance - and hopefully, they will air AT 40 online too (according to what you said).
