Just an observation regarding Classic AT40 Extras. WFMX 107.9 - Mix Maine out of Skowhegan, ME broadcasts the 80s on Saturdays 6AM to 10AM and repeats the show Sunday from 2AM to 6AM (immediately before broadcasting the 70s). The Saturday morning broadcast does not include classic extras, while the Sunday morning broadcasts do. My sense is the early Sunday morning broadcast has fewer commercials, thus more time for the extras.

I'm pretty sure KQMA dropped the Saturday night airing of AT40 the 80s. They have not aired Casey since mid July.
Also, WNIC dropped AT40 the 80s. On 8/22 they just played boring music. Their air schedule on their website removed Casey Kasem. Thus, if WQSR messes up AT40 the 80s on Sunday night, you're are out of luck. Of course, you don't have to deal with WNIC prempting Casey in the last quarter of the year with their Xmas music.

I have a feeling CJMK dropped the show, or at least moved it. I'm listening right now and they're just playing their regular format. Also, looking back at their playlist from earlier today, same thing. And there's no mention of it on their website, either.
BTW, CKRU runs the full show from 1-5pm eastern on Sundays.

WNIC has brought back AT40 the 80s, the top 30 portion from 9 pm to Midnight Eastern Sunday nights.
The 9/14/1985 did air on WNIC on 9/12/2010.

I went to the station's homepage (www.kruzfm.ca) and clicked "Listen Live" and it works fine. It doesn't look like they've changed the address, either. EDIT: I know what's wrong. The original post has the .... abbreviation in it for CKRU. Proboards is abbreviating some of the other stream links, but those were originally typed with the full address. The link for CKRU wasn't. |
