Also, 8-9-03 was Ryan Seacrest. I know Ed McMann took the AT20's on Ryan's 7-12-03 AT40, which makes me think the gears were already in motion to turn over AT40 to someone with Casey keeping AT20

Marc Elliot would also be Casey's regular stand in during the early years of Casey's Top 40. For the later years, the regular stand in would be Dave Roberts. Dave Roberts was also one of the hosts of the short-lived "Top 40 Countdown" (Westwood One's temporary replacement for Casey's Top 40 after Casey had left to restart AT40 in March 1998 (the last host for "Top 40 Countdown" was Jeff Wyatt on March 21, 1998)

I'll include it if so. I believe it was just the July show. the other three times he filled in, he did the AT20's. And I remember him doing a great job. And yes, it was David Perry who was Casey's once a month fill in during the layer WW1 years. Dave Roberts filled in a couple times for him in the 80s though on At40. But I dont think he ever did a CT40...

You're right about "David Perry" being Casey's regular substitute in the latter part of his Westwood One years. That's what I meant to say but "Dave Roberts" stuck in my mind instead.

Also, I wasn't aware but 10/11/03 was also split. AT20 AC was hosted by Ed McMann while AT40 and AT20 HAC were hosted by Ryan

It's worth noting that, during Shadoe's era, 1994 had the most guest hosts. Was this because ratings for AT40 fell so much and they couldn't afford to pay him on some weeks?
Of course, Shadoe was on the show non-stop for the final six months of the series. The original series' last two guest hosts would both serve as hosts of "The World Chart Show" which launched the following February.
Speaking of which, is "World Chart" still being produced? I know OZ-FM in Newfoundland dropped the show by 2004 when they replaced it with AT20.

Looking at my library, only four 1994 AT40 shows weren't hosted by Shadoe. Casey took off more weeks that year than Shadoe did (eight, to be exact - twice as many). ETA: You're right, while 1994 had more than any other year in Shadoe's tenure, it was only one more than 1992 (which had three). The list is on page 1.

Yes it is. Which means, you're both wrong, as 1992 and 1994 each had four: 1/11/92: Richard Marx 3/7/92: Jack Wagner 4/4/92: Jody Watley 10/31/92: Jay Thomas 3/12/94: David Hall 6/18/94: Meshach Taylor & J.C. Wendall 7/23/94: Joe Cipriano 7/30/94: Adrienne Walker Meanwhile, has it been determined when Bob Hudson was supposed to guest host a week, but due to being unable to adapt to recording the show's material, it didn't work out? (So far, only somewhere from 1976-78 is specified.)
