WBEL Mostly90s.com must have started early today. When I first tuned in, they were just starting #33 which was "It's Not Right, But It's OK" by Whitney Houston. I'm pretty sure the show is 09/25/99,for which this would be the 6th airing in retro-Dees. It's last airing was 09/28/2019, and the sure shot should be "I Believe in Love" by Paula Cole.

Interesting to hear on the 1996 show the song that got Sheryl Crow banned at Walmart, "Love Is A Good Thing". Since they stopped selling handguns in 2019, I wonder if they sell her albums now?

I thoroughly enjoyed the 1988 show, especially since we don’t hear this month on American Top 40. This was one of those rare weeks when none of the songs were holding. Those who have died in the years since: Robert Palmer, Glenn Frey, Michael Hutchence, Whitney Houston, George Michael and probably some more I’m forgetting.

Michael Jackson, Eddie Van Halen, 3 of the Four Tops, Carl Wilson, Steve Clark and Brian Travers of UB40 have all since died too.

KKMK is playing 09/26/2009 HAC tonight, I think. They started early and I caught the end of #39. The sure shot was probably "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus. This is its 4th airing in retro-Dees, the most recent being 09/26/2020.
