With the same glitches spot for spot, I'd be inclined to think the fault isn't really on the Dees network software - rather, it's on the station not being willing to own up to it.

As in "cinch"? All three - Rick, Shadoe, even Casey - did that at least once. Yes. I always thought their name was pronounced "cinch" as well. I found a video that confirms that is how the band pronounced their name. If anything, this quick newscast is a reminder of how this song was resurrected: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2P3Ke9SnTPI

Wait, if KZOY for 90s still get problems, maybe we could've check the other stations like KOMC fm or something.

With the same glitches spot for spot, I'd be inclined to think the fault isn't really on the Dees network software - rather, it's on the station not being willing to own up to it. I'd think if the issue was with the station they would also have glitches when they air AT40, but those shows air without any problem. ETA: Just found this post from last August. Now they're playing the August 1994 show from last week. ETA: And now they're back to 1992. ETA (9:32 PM ET): And they're back to 1994 again (Prayer For the Dying at #15). ETA (9:50 PM): After playing Wild Night at #13, they go to commercial...and then come back to 1992 (Good Stuff by The B-52s at #12). ETA (10:30 PM): They're still on 1992 and hopefully it stays that way for the rest of the show. ETA (10:46 PM): Nope, back to 1994 (All-4-One's I Swear at #3). I was looking forward to hearing the songs of the summer of 1992, so this glitch the last two hours of the show was real disappointing. I sent an email to John at KZOY this morning - he's the owner/GM. Here is his response. "I think it is their delivery platform (Syncronicity) - it's a proprietary software that pushes the files to us so we have no control over anything. I've been a vocal opponent for several years - they are finally listening - they told me that we should have a NEW method soon." This obviously hasn't happened yet since these glitches are still happening.

This obviously hasn't happened yet since these glitches are still happening. This is pretty frustrating for all of us. I sent another email to KZOY last Monday with his response being he would send another complaint to the Dees Network. No updates on any response from Dees. I haven't been listening to any Dees shows on KZOY for over a year now as they are mostly repeats of shows played many times.

I have some questions about this one, particularly around #25 "Freak Me". Right before, Rick is setting it up with snippets of songs that refer to "physical love" through the decades - it sounds very much like something came right before the 80s example, and it was edited out, I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be "The Joker" for the 70s. The only real question I'd have there is if anything else would have come before that and also been edited out. Anyways, for the 80s a piece of "Let's Go All the Way" is played, then for the 90s of course it's "Freak Me". It plays for about 30 seconds with what sounds like Rick giving a proper intro, as he says it's #25. The song then plays, with a slew of obnoxious soundbites included throughout, and Rick cuts in early (3 minutes). Here's my question about that. Reception's listing for that week has "Freak Me" as only being announced - but if what's in the posted clip is how it aired, then he obviously has that wrong. Where I'm not sure about the clip being what actually aired, is at what would otherwise apparently be the outro. Rick notes that "times have changed" and it sounds like there's a sound jump right after that, then we're heading into the next song at #24. So it makes me wonder if the "'Freak Me' with obnoxious clips" is something that was edited IN to what's posted. So...what this comes down to is, is Reception right, or is that guy's channel right?
