They don't really get worse than this - take your pick: Either a fourth-time play with 4/13, or it duplicates Premiere with 4/20. Oh, and each was last done in 2018 and 2019, respectively. 4/13 would become the fifth member of the Four Or More club, alongside 10/13/84, 1/31/87, 2/20/88 (the only one currently at five), and 3/25/89. (Oddly enough, 1986 has only one week that's been done even 3 times to date, and that one - 12/6/86 - just hit #3 back in December.)

Either way, I wonder which version of the Time's "The Bird" they play; when they did it before it was an instrumental version that IIRC only lasted about two minutes. I'd hope they can get it right this time, but it's doubtful. (Ironically this would come right after they played some overlong versions of songs this week.) I'd say just listen for the songs if you like them, and then turn to Casey the same week to get the commentary right.

Friday's date of 4-16 is closer to 4-13, but as stated it go either way for next weekend's 1985 show. On the 10-9-20 show, the VJs went with the 10-13-84 episode even though 10-6-84 was closer to the actual date of 10-9-84.

I'd guess 4/13 due to it being closer to the Friday airdate. If it is 4/13, it will be the first time in over three years that Premiere and SiriusXM play different charts from the same year in the same weekend.
Either way, I'll be taking next week off from listening to the show live. Anytime we get the same year from both sources, I listen to the VJs a week later on demand.
Also, speaking of overplayed charts, this week's offering on the 90s countdown is a fourth-time airing of 4/12/97. That chart has played four times in seven years. Worse, there are two other years that were due to be picked ahead of 1997. Whatever. Nothing either channel does surprises me anymore.

Next weekend is the third weekend of April and 4/20 was on third weekend of April in 1985 so I'm going to go with it being a Premiere duplicate.

Next weekend is the third weekend of April and 4/20 was on third weekend of April in 1985 so I'm going to go with it being a Premiere duplicate. These tend to be based on the initial Friday night airing date, rather than Saturdays - but 1985 is also one of a few years where the calendar doesn't line up well with this year's Friday set (the others are 1980 and 1986). Thus, the ambiguity.

I guess we will find out Friday night at 9 pm. On one hand, the 13th is closer to the 16th, but on the other hand, agreed, the third weekend of April was on the 20th.

They're going with 4/13. Funny thing is that last time 1985 was featured, the kick-off song was debuting.

A bit of a bummer, as had that waited just one more week it could have landed on a new chart (even if one of those would likely duplicate Premiere).
On the other hand, this next week didn't have too many options available for new charts anyway - just 4/19/86 or 4/25/87, among years that haven't been done too recently.
On the other, other hand, as repeats go it's otherwise not too bad, as 4/24/82 was last done in 2014.

On a bit of a happier note, they've gotten much better at not duplicating Premiere, even if purely by accident, as tonight's 1985 is the first week in 5 & 1/2 months where they either duplicated the week of an A or B show, or duplicated the year but not the chart week, or played an A or B show week the week after they did.
Last year was the first time they'd made it to mid-April and had only had one week of duplication by that point in the year. (More often than not, duplication will have happened multiple times over by now!) But last year it first happened in February.

No doubt it will be 4-24-82. Sustained hit makers will be featured: Rolling Stones, Beatles, Olivia Newtown John, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Willie Nelson (Country primarily), Journey and Paul McCartney.
