No, it ran from 5:00 to 8:00 (CST). So there was still one hour left in the time slot. They could have easily just played those two songs, because is there a even a DJ getting an extra hour of air time from 8:00 to 9:00?

I think that show (AT40 Holiday Edition) was played the weekend of November 20 this year, WHNN posted the cue sheet over that weekend as well. Maybe they are re-playing it cause we just ran out of specials? I never tire of hearing Casey anyway!

Yeah, they borrowed Dees' dart board and used it to compile songs #2 through #60 (as the #1 song actually makes sense). Actually I was a bit surprised at the #1 song. In the 1973 AT40 show, "White Christmas" was #1 with 25 million copies sold. On this countdown, it was #5 with 50 million copies sold. Now I know Casey said the AT10 countdown was based on airplay, but to double your sales in 30 years makes it seem odd to fall from 1 to 5 in the rankings. Still, "The Christmas Song" is a just #1 in itself.

They're all pretty good songs for sure! I don't think Elton's tune should have been so low, we hear that EVERYWHERE!

I would love them to run that missing Christmas show next week. While it wouldn't do me any good this year it would next and beyond. Seems my Christmas show collection for this time of year keeps growing. Now this year ready to be loaded on the iphone and iPad I have:
1. ZRock Christmas special 2. Weekend 22 Christmas special 3. Weekend Top 20 Christmas special 4. Weekly Top 40 Christmas special from last year 5. Weekly Top 40 Christmas Countdown 6. The 5 usual AT10 shows which once those start get repeated until Christmas nights Football game.
I'm also going to attempt to record the 12 hour Christmas Across the Lands program as well.

I'll post my Classic Country Hall Of Fame show in the General folder later on, maybe you'd like that as well. Not a "countdown" but neither is some of the ones you have...

Speaking of country that's the one that alludes me year in and year out...Bob Kingsleys show. They finally have a nice list on their website of who's airing it (supposedly) but no time listings! No, other than the WT40 one and the Top 60 of AT10 there are no countdowns in the list. I really don't know that I'd like anymore either. I like the random shows and the countdowns interspersed between them. Does anyone kmow what the name of the song aired at the end of the last half of the Top 60 is? I know part is we wish you a merry Christmas but who is singing it and is it all 1 song?

WHNN played the second half of the top 60 today, they missed a whole segment that started with #5 White Christmas by Bing. Luckily, I had most of that show recorded from last year and spliced in that segment to make the show whole.

Actually, next weekend Premiere will be airing the first half of the "Top 60 Christmas Songs" show. Does Larry M. intro/outro these shows as well?

They've missed segments most every week they've played a Christmas show, played extras out of segment order, etc. Like you, I'm glad I was just re-recording this year and was able to put in the missing segments as well. Plus I noticed the first verse of the Perry Como song was no longer in the show.

The AT10 show referenced above (ending with Vince Guaraldi) is the one that airs this weekend.
Also regarding the Dees special this weekend...it's basically the same show as last year, with a couple of replacement songs.
