On the first hour of this show we have Judy Collins' "Cook With Honey" followed by Alice Cooper's "Hello Hurray". Which I'm 99% sure is the ONLY song to be recorded by both. Judy changed the spelling of the title a bit. Here's her version: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DB0TtT6NVcA

Can't hear Barbara Mason cooing 'ooh baby' in "Give Me Your Love" without thinking of "The Humpty Dance". Also thought that Barbara's 'bio' was doing the common fib of shaving a few years off of her age when Casey stated that she was 25 years old, but it's the truth: She was born in August 1947. Which means she was all of 17 when she wrote and recorded her big 1965 hit, "Yes I'm Ready".

The new PD for 70’s on 7 must be a huge fan of the early 70’s. Aside from the AT40’s choices leaning heavily on that end, listen to the channel in general and LOTS of early 70’s and otherwise rarely heard early hits. For a while there it could almost have been called The Bee Gees Channel, but now they’ve switched gears. Great to hear these songs, but they need to level it out.

The rotation has been very equitable also. Now the only year longest without play is 1976, which should be likely next week.

No one's yet posted tonight's 'Wheel' show, so I will: If you're an early show fan, like me, you're in luck--November 14 1970 on now.

April 8-9, 2023: Now let’s go back to this week in 1976 - John Schneider and Tom Wopat - April 3, 1976 4/3 is a week behind. 4/10 would've been the logical choice.

Also, cut out the two extras from the 1960's.
