Second week of a duplicate year of Premiere with one week earlier, which duplicates about 35 songs!

SXM is doing a “Ladies Night” weekend, nothing but women of the 70’s, except for the countdown of course. They are playing some rarely heard tunes. Nice change of pace.

Pondering if XM with go with 76, same as AT 40 the 70's. The last two weeks were the same year, but different weeks.

Pondering if XM with go with 76, same as AT 40 the 70's. The last two weeks were the same year, but different weeks. They could but if they do it would be the exact same show as Premiere, since April 24 was a Saturday in 1976 as well as 2021. 1973 and 1978 are two other years that haven't been regular weekend shows since January or February. The same is true for 1976, but if I were choosing the shows for Sirius XM I'd figure it can wait another week. (Though I wouldn't have played 1972 or 1975 the same weekends Premiere did, even those from a week earlier.) Guess we'll find out tomorrow....(or sooner)

Love "Rock On"-In 1989,it was a #1 hit for actor/singer Michael Damian-That same year,a group called The Traveling Pillsburys recorded an amusing parody called "Spock On" which recieved a tremendous amount of airplay on Dr.Demento's weekly show.

Ian Thomas had his only top forty hit in late 1973/early 1974 with "Painted Ladies"-In early 1982,his brother Dave along with Rick Moranis scored their only hit with a novelty record called "Take Off"-You know Dave & Rick better as the brotherly duo of Bob & Doug Mc Kenzie.
