Larry, I am listening to your great compilation, thanks!
One question, though . . . you placed some of the songs into positions different than they are listed in the Billboard Top 100 of 1969 Chart.
(1) Billboard listed “I’m Gonna Make You Love Me” by Diana Ross & the Supremes +Temptations at #88, but you played this at #87.
(2) Billboard listed “Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Man” by Bob Seger System at #87, but you played this at #86.
(3) Billboard listed “I Heard it Through the Grapevine” by Marvin Gaye at #86, but you played this at #88.
Edited to add questions about these from Part 4 of your show:
(4) Billboard listed “In the Ghetto” by Elvis at #38, but you played it at #35.
(5) Billboard listed “Only the Strong Survive” by Jerry Butler at #37, but you played it at #38.
(6) Billboard listed “Baby Baby Don’t Cry” by Smokey Robinson & the Miracles at #36, but you played it at #37.
(7) Billboard listed “A Boy Named Sue” by Johnny Cash at #35, but you played it at # 36.
Which position is the correct one?
Thank you in advance for clarifying, and thanks again for putting this enjoyable show together!
Cheers, Mitch
